Nice interface but not functional
I have multiple issues with EM app. It sometimes logs me out for no reason and then it says my EV charger is offline when it is not.
My main frustration is that they don’t maintain the electricity provider tariffs at all and if you want to add your tariff in manually it only allows you to use two rates (it assumes you have one rate for the night). I have a tariff with an off-peak rate at two periods during the day so I’m unable to use this as I wouldn’t be able to charge my car during one of the off-peak periods due to the restrictions imposed by the app.
Please can you maintain the electricity provider tariff before you roll out the Project Plug-in and add in the option to manually input at least three rates (daytime x 2 plus night time).

Awful
Won’t even let me verify my account, keeps saying network error. Even tried deleting and re-downloading
Truly awful
So many obviously fake reviews, so many bugs. The most frustrating one is that if I put my charger in ‘Plug & Charge’ mode, and then remove the charge window from the app, it reverts to ‘App’ charging mode which conflicts with smart charging managed by the vehicle.
Smart charging through the app fundamentally doesn’t work with Intelligent Octopus Go so that’s a non starter.
So annoying as I inherited this charger but I think I would rather pay an electrician to replace it rather than continue with this app

So unreliable… 😫
Easy to work with and understand but so so so unreliable, always freezing and crashing… the amounts of times that I had to reinstall to see if it would solve problems is ridiculous. Find it even worse since last update
Completely unusable
I live in a new build property with an EV-IQ charge point, this app crashes every single time without fail when I attempt to open the charger page within it. Save yourself the headache and buy a better EV charger with working software
