Latest update
Not sure what has happened but in the last week or so the app must have updated now it just won’t start and when it does it doesn’t seem to keep up to date with the charger status if it’s on, and if car is plugged meaning that the app won’t allow the car to charge. Was working fine until it updated
App/charger instability
Latest update has led to the app crashing whilst loading. Not a problem as I have the charger set to plug and play. But now the charger keeps crashing when charging starts resulting in minimal charge to the car. The two issues feel linked
Not Good
Doesn’t work half the time, when it does it will stop charging for an unknown reason and is not particularly easy to set up and navigate.
Has potential… but frustrating reliability issues
The app has a solid idea behind it, but the experience is let down by reliability problems and inconsistent performance. Charging sessions frequently stop due to network issues, and at times it keeps stopping and starting charging by itself, which makes it hard to rely on the app for a smooth experience.
The messaging within the app can also be confusing. It’s not always clear whether charging has actually stopped or if it’s just a temporary glitch, which adds unnecessary stress when trying to manage charging.
I’ve reached out to the support team multiple times via email, but despite several attempts, I haven’t received a proper solution. Responses are either delayed or don’t address the issue properly, which is disappointing.
Overall, the concept is great, but the app feels unstable in its current state. I hope these reliability and support issues are addressed soon in future updates.

Good App
Used this app for over 2 years and haven’t yet experienced an issue with it, it’s worked well for us our friends who visit and charge their cars as well.
Works fine for me
Had issues with the previous people Project EV but seems to have been fine since Electric Miles took over. Could do with a facility to choose start and stop times rather than length of charge ?
Very Happy
Easy to use and simple layout
Really versatile app
This is really useful and can be used with many chargers, I recommend it to a friend that was having issues with their native charger.
Terrible App
My first experience using an EV charger. After about 45 minutes & two apps later, it connected. The following day I go to use and its not connected to the Wifi. Another 45 minutes of trying to connect using both this & their suggested wifi connector app and no luck. Constant failure to connect to bluetooth, app crashes etc. Absolutely shocking.

Great app
Very easy to use, able to get it on multiple accounts for the same car. Great app.
Works Perfectly
No issue with the app and great ‘at home’ charging. Haven’t had any particular issues.
Low cost rate is a winner
Almost all of my charging is at low cost rate. £0.07 per kWh gives me super cheap motoring.
Great app
This is a really reliable way of charging our car at home
Has potential…but
The Electric Miles app has potential but is let down by inconsistent messaging and reliability issues. Scheduled charges often disappear, especially after even the smallest network dropout, meaning if the connection drops for just a few seconds the app can lose all charging schedules. This makes it unreliable for those expecting consistent overnight or tariff-based charging.
The user interface has confusing messaging, after starting a boost charge the app reports that charging has been stopped by the vehicle even though the charge was successful.
I’ve reported these issues to the support team, however they are slow to respond and when they do it’s a copy and paste message from the FAQ’s.
Overall the experience feels unstable despite the good concept behind it.
I hope these issues are ironed out in a newer version of the App.

Excellent service from Electric Miles
Excellent service from Electric Miles easy to use, reliable, and efficient. The app makes managing EV charging simple and smart. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a smooth electric charging experience!
Unreliable app
Every time it is updated something goes wrong. I can no longer charge my car as the charger seems to have been removed.
Very poor quality app
Had a nightmare with this app. It’s clearly poorly written and tested.
All sorts of problems trying to get it set up. Things like unhelpful error messages, processes that are clearly either doing nothing and return no error, or just timing out again with no helpful info.
To really top it off, the final blow was not accepting a WiFi ssid over 16 characters. Every other device in the house copes fine.
It’s not clear if it’s the fault of the app (someone declared ssid[16] somewhere perhaps?) or the eviq box (which is headed for the skip). Either way, neither are fit for purpose.

Still unreliable
Despite the developers claiming that they have ‘fixed’ the problems with this app, it still only works 1:3 times. Which leaves me with a wall charger that I can’t use.
Improve self-install guides!
App works flawlessly with my Vestel Libra, but setup required a technician. Improve self-install guides!
