По какой причине после скачивания приложения открывается только белый экран? Переустановка не помогла

You for some reason need a VPN to just open the app, all of my antivirus give me multiple warnings (I have 3) I doubt this has any privacy whatsoever. No hate to the devs, I like the app layout, but atleast make a real app. Not trustable.

Amazing app. Thank you for developing! The only thing is missing is stickers. Its way easier to convince people to switch to Element if it would had stickers functionality
Missing Rich Text Rendering
The UI is polished as compared to classic version but there is no rich text rendering for tables and code. It appears as plain text

What's the point of this app if I cannot use it to call someone with the desktop version?
From a great app to useless
Element and the team behind it have become largely non-functional over the past several months. It feels like the goal has become to take a very useable piece of technology and systematically reduce the user experience until simple tasks cause considerable hair loss. I can no longer perform the simple task of verifying a device against another.
I’ve reported this. No response, no resolution. In just a few weeks you won’t be able to use an unverified device.
Time to look for a new messaging platform.

Загрузка видео
Все супер! Поднял для семейного чата. Но оптимизируйте пожалуйста загрузку видео. Добавьте например процесс загрузки в процентах… видео очень странно загружает и невозможно понять текущий прогресс загрузки, бывает ждеть, а видео так и не отправляется
I like it but…
Element X is a real step up from using Hermes Agent with Telegram. But it crashes several times a day. I’m using it on a m5 iPad Pro with 12 gb of ram, so the hardware should be more than adequate. I encourage the devs to put more resources into the app. Consider charging a one time fee for it. $10 wouldn’t be out of line, once.

Unable to search specific messages
This was a solid replacement to the Signal app until I realized the search function is only for chats, no specific messages within the chats. It’s super inconvenient to scroll to possibly find the message you sent 3 months ago about a specific topic. I use the search function all the time to find literally anything on any device I’m using. Please change this.

Много чего стоит доработать
1. Поиск по чатам. Это первое что необходимо. Это главный минус. В переписке нереально что-то найти
2. Форматирование текста при написании и отправке
3. Можно и реакции сортировать по часто используемым.
Всё кроме поиска - придирки. Но без поиска очень тяжело пользоваться приложением.

Can’t communicate with own kids :(
It’s a really great and neat messenger app. Privacy oriented, end to end encryption in both DM and group chats, open source and with possibility to selfhost the server.
My only gripe is that despite selfhosting a secure Matrix server I can’t use it to safely communicate with our kids because someone classified app as 16+ and even adding it to exception list in iOS parental control doesn’t allow kids to use the apps (at least in UK since age verification requirement on devices) ;(
Interesting that (meta)data harvester like Whatsapp is rated 13+, I’d argue that Element X is more or at least equally safe so we really hope they Element team would work on improving age rating :o

Same old glitch.
I don’t understand why I have a green dot in the msg compose area.
Also my preferred notification type is nothing but the badge, and this app always shows a badger with a 1 that I can’t clear. There cannot possibly be any unread messages. I’ve deleted everything except one active chat group and I know I’ve seen all the activity. This bug has been going on for YEARS and it followed me from the old app.
Glad I can opt out of typing notifs, but I wish I could opt other people out of my typing notifs too.

Jede App auf dem Markt schafft es, wenn man etwas im Eingabefenster eingegeben hat aber sich der Bildschirm sperrt man aus der App geht oder wie auch immer, dass der Text da bleibt aber diese Schmutz App schafft es leider nicht…

Got a self hosted matrix server running to communicate with friends, element is a great client for this 👌 just needs much better GIF and sticker support and would be 10/10- pleaseeeee
