Elerent - DO NOT USE
Do not use ! I couldn’t end the trip - I moved scooter 3 times and ended up where I picked it up - constantly said error and then would not show and end trip option. 38’ ride ended up billing me for 329 ‘ at €116 which they have taken . Tried calling and messaging on WhatsApp- no answer or response.

Doesn’t work with US cell numbers
Useless for US tourists. Don’t waste your time!
Phone number verification code would not send.
I was not able to rent the bike until my phone number was verified however the verification code was not sent to me. I tried multiple phone numbers as well and did not receive a code.
Tried Twice, Failed Twice
I reserved twice and Terrasini for a total of five minutes. I need the scooter automatically locked and did not let me continue driving while I had still rented it. This resulted in the service not working and spending three euros for nothing.
Basically uncontactable and over 20 hours and counting to resolve the issue
Response time terrible for the issue and scooter did not move an inch. App completely blocked. Disappointed.
Avoid at all costs
I wish I read the app reviews before using. I’m in Corralejo for a week and seen everyone using the e-scooters and figured I’d give it a go. After numerous attempts I managed to get on to an e-scooter and the ride was fine but at the end of the journey i returned the bike back to the exact spot I picked it up from and tried to end journey. It said outside of business area? The bike then locked and an alarm went off when I moved it. I tried to take it back to another location as to be fair I did get the bike from outside the green area and though maybe someone else just dumped it previously; this was literally just a few metres away. I tried and tried and tried and tried to end the trip and it still kept saying outside of business area. I then noticed it thought the bike was now somewhere else and I didn’t know what to do. I called the support number and the line rang once and kept cutting out after a short message in Spanish. I then found another number on the app and it said to message on WhatsApp which I did. I called and was shouted at by someone in another language so I sent them a message to which I got the following response “ Hi listen to me I can't help you this number is not customer service that can help you call another number I'm sorry have a good day”.
After over 30 mins of trying I gave up and the timer is still going up as we speak. I jumped online and seen these reviews, instantly blocked my card and that will be the end of that. The only bonus is I get the 12 min ride for €1. More than happy to pay what’s owed but I won’t be ripped off or robbed when I’ve done everything as needed. Consider this a small win for those that have been conned before. They were really fun to use but the app is appalling. Best advice I can give is pay the extra and rent them from a shop, they are fun.

For two trips costing roughly 2 euro each I have been charged 8.99 euro six times in the same day !!!!
BEWARE ELERENT = CROOKS
I haven’t used this app since I was in La Caccia last year and they have started to take money from my account without a purchase of any kind and without my permission. More trouble than it’s worth. Beware. I had to contact Visa direct In order to dispute the illegal transaction which I won recently. Please don’t use Elerent.

Cannot end your trip, have to call them each time
I used this twice, both times I was in a never ending loop of trying to end my trip. It would successfully submit the photo but then give me an error message when I push end trip.
I had to call them.
They would not refund for the extra 10 min as a result of not being able to end the trip.
They tried to blame me and my connection saying I closed the app - I didn’t and mobile data connection is perfect - zero down time.
The problem is the app.

Scam
I got scammed I paid then out of no where they took 200€ of me and they didn’t reply to me and they keep the money
Criminal
They take your money, refuse to say why and then refuse to respond. They keep saying they’ll call to resolve the dispute, but I’m still waiting. Genuinely avoid.

App glitches preventing you from stopping a rental resulting in an extra £18 charge!! Customer service have completely ignored me and some stranger used the scooter all over Kos!! Rip off!! Avoid these cowboys
Overcharged
Used scooters 6 times in total on a recent holiday to Kos. Somehow I have been charged for 8 journeys and also had a large chunk of money taken from my account (£50) by Elerent with no explanation why. Have emailed Elerent but have had no response as of yet. This is diabolical behaviour. Been told I had two people on scooter which is a LIE. DO NOT use this company, untrustworthy and rude. Will not refund my money even though they have no proof or evidence. Make up lies about me being stopped by an employee and fined which NEVER happened. I reiterate DO NOT use elerent, they are thieves and liars.

Ladri e bugiardi per non dire altro, inizialmente non avevo problemi ma quando si verificano problemi A LORO NON INTERESSANO O RISPONDONO. Mi hanno detto che se lasciavo una recensione id ricevevo un codice promozionale per uno sblocco gratuito, ho ricevuto un codice che non funzionava e poi quel giorno ho acquistato un pacchetto e non potevo terminare il mio giro in scooter, di conseguenza pagando di più il for la corsa. Li ho contattati e hanno letto i miei messaggi e non hanno risposto, DISGUSTOSO.
