Grammatical errors
The app would be much more trustworthy if the developer checked for errors in the meaning of words, and grammatical errors. I’m not paying to learn false information.
this sounds dramatic but this app has changed my life
i had a brain haemorrhage and was looking for something to help in tandem with my speech and language therapy. thought i was going to get some tips and tricks but i was so wrong. comprehension, word finding, spelling, maths (which i despised but now actually look forward to doing), grammar.
psychically, my body is never going to be the same but the most devastating thing for me was communication or lack of understanding - english has always been my favourite subject.
i'm getting some back. the games evolve alongside your understanding so you feel continual challenge and don't "hit a wall" but it's tailored to your levels so you never feel hopelessly lost. this applies to subjects you even know well to begin with (just general users, not those struggling).
there's such a breadth of different subjects that listing them all will be excessive but it scans across word recall, memory, maths (and just general knowledge too). i hate maths and Elevate has actually changed my mind on that.
the app itself is beautiful (i love design i'm not a pervert). visually it feels like a true game (i'm also a gamer). the games feel like actual varied games - so nothing is repetitive. the sound effects are spot on - no irritating music, the sound effects are appropriate and aren't stressful/unwarranted. the feedback the app provides is informative and demonstrates easy to understand visual display on your progress (and detail on where your brain is). i truly can't recommend this more. seriously. this is the most helpful thing i've found - bonus points on fantastic customer service.

The ads they’ve added are unbearable and unskippable
The app used to be good but now you are forced to play some mindless candy crush equivalent ad to continue with the next stage of your brain training. Defeats the purpose of the app

I’ve found this app to be invaluable with short tasks that over time increase your ability and speed. It actually trains your brain. Love it!

I got this as I wasn’t very good at maths and my SATS were coming up (they still are) so I got this app and I loved it. You don’t have to pay for it only the full edition
