I love this App and I love that Jane and Brian are not remote and genuinely want it to work for people learning a new language. In Spanish, verbs are everything and they make it more user friendly and realistic by using sentences to practice them and a host of other features. So, it’s not just a conjugation exercise.
What’s more, they send out releases regularly and accommodate so many requests.
It is just so useful and designed to meet time limits; you can spend 5 mins or 50. What’s not to like. It’s simple, fun and motivating to use, a big plus for a non techie like me!

incredible app - today felt like a miracle
I just leveled up from Level 8 to Level 9 ☀️ I’m so grateful to Level 8 for teaching me about “ser” and “estar”. I’ve been making mistakes with those two verbs in my free Duolingo app, and my scores in Duo are improving because of Ella Verbs!!! 😄
Now in Level 9, I’m learning additional important verbs that I’m enjoying the sound of 😂 And then in the next level, the Milestone, I’ll learn even more about “ser” and “estar” and how to use them correctly 😍 (I did a sneek peek of the Milestone with the Ella Verbs Preview option, and can’t wait to get there).
Levels 8 and 9 in Ella Verbs may not sound like much, but for me, it’s an accomplishment I thought I would never experience 😄 The lessons and quizzes have enough info to teach me each new step, but not so much that I’m overwhelmed. These developers have somehow figured out just the right thing to do at exactly the right time to help me learn, and understand what I’m learning. I’m even starting to think maybe someday I’ll be able to progress to reading novels and news in original Spanish!!! All because of this app. Now that I’m using Ella Verbs every day, Spanish is beginning to feel more natural, not only on Ella Verbs, but elsewhere as well.
P.S. I’m very grateful that in Ella Verbs I can select the choices for European Spanish (using vosotros and usted), etc., as this is important to me 🇪🇸 But for those preferring Latin American Spanish, and others, those choices are available as well 🇲🇽

Fantastic App!
This app is fantastic for intermediates who want to perfect their conjugation. I love the high degree of customization for the quizzes. It really allows me to hone in on weak points and target train. The stats are also helpful indicators and the lessons are good for grammar refreshers. This app would also be excellent for a beginners, but I focus my review on intermediates just because there are much fewer helpful apps for us. This app certainly deserves more attention because it is tremendously useful.

Boost your ability to speak Spanish…get his app!
Four years into learning Spanish from the ground up as anEnglish speaking mature adult, I find that the conjugations of Spanish verbs is one of the most difficult things for me. Finding a facility and confidence in how to conjugate the various tenses is a HUGE help to achieving facility in fluency. This is a great app for working through these issues. It’s very well organized and easy to use, plus Jane and Bryan are so personal and supportive.

Great Tool!
I don’t EVER write reviews but this app really is deserving of one. It makes learning & practicing the tenses super easy and intuitive. I have been learning spanish for years but verbs have always been a weak point until I found this.
Surprisingly useful!
When I first started studying Spanish, I knew I would have to focus on verbs. I tried various methods, including old school, textbooks, and various online apps. I was so surprised to find how useful and easy to use this app is. The quizzes are super helpful to solidify the verb concepts. Overall, I would definitely recommend this app.

Learning to understand
I have to come back and say this is the happiest I’ve felt learning. Getting things right not because I’m guessing or memorising but because I genuinely understand how to get to the right answer is something words can explain.

Once you realise the complexity and importance of verb conjugation in learning Spanish, you realise a framework or way to organise this important area to help your learning is essential.
Verb conjugation felt chaotic when I was learning Spanish in other apps in an ‘ad hoc’ manner (i.e. understanding is assumed, explanations are not provided, etc).
However, there is a way to manage and remove the chaos. I have found Ella Verbs to do that superbly.
Very happy with the App and its structure. I use it to support my learning via other means. I view it as an essential element for me to continue to improve learning Spanish.
I have assessed other web sites and apps but have found this one appears to capture all needs very well and offers a range of ways to learn, progress, assess, etc.
The support provided by the Developers is also excellent. I tried it for free initially and the free elements were enough for me to realise it was exactly what I was looking for.
I recommend you at least try the free elements to see if it supports you also. The price is also very affordable for what it offers, IMO.

Today, I finally felt like I could Level Up to Level 7. Before I started this app, I was afraid I’d fail with Spanish no matter how hard I tried. I was so intimidated by Spanish verbs in all the other apps (and in books), that I didn’t think I’d ever be able to learn the language. But I downloaded this app, and began using it, despite my fear.

I take lessons from an in person maestra and adding Ella Verbs to my study routine has help enormously. I often use the web version. They have some amazing resources there if one prefers to use a computer

incredible app, and fast developer attention
This app is absolutely wonderful. I’m only on Level 6, but it’s changed everything for me already. I’m not as stressed about trying to read easy Spanish now, and it feels like I’m genuinely learning 😄 I’m very grateful also that they have appropriate choices for European Spanish using vosotros and usted, etc., as this is important to me 🇪🇸 But for those preferring Latin American Spanish, those choices are available as well 🇲🇽 I’m even starting to think maybe someday I’ll be able to progress to reading novels and news in original Spanish!!! Joining the dots!
I love this app. Before starting I had completed a Pimsleur course which was great to learn some vocabulary, phrasing, listening and speaking but it didn’t give me structure. Ella Verbs is really helping to solidify the technical aspects of what I have learned so far. It’s not something to use alone, but then nothing is, you need multiple streams. Great work Jane and Brian :-)

Literally the Best
Honestly, when it comes to learning verbs, there’s no app as good as this one. The ability to work my way through each level, review decaying tenses, and practice both the verbs through flash cards and conjugating them through lessons is awesome.
Amazing app!
This app is outstanding for building skills with verb conjugations and learning the definitions of hundreds of verbs. It is very customizable. You can create short quizzes or long quizzes, and you can focus on specific conjugation types. Also, the developers are VERY responsive to feedback. It has been an excellent complement to the other methods I use to study Spanish.

This is possibly the best Spanish Language App I use as I must admit I use a fair few! All the tenses are covered and you can go at your own pace. Fundamentally, without knowing the verb tenses I’d never be able to speak Spanish properly
