This app is very thorough and includes regular quizzes but you can learn at your own speed. It has lots of helpful tips and all the conjugation tables, the latter being very boring to learn but which is essential for those who want to make real progress in learning Spanish rather than just learning ‘holiday Spanish’.

For example, I wanted to check myself on “quedar”. So I looked it up in the app’s Verb Dictionary, and discovered an interesting and valuable note about “quedar” that explained something that had been a bit of a question mark for me. It gave me an example as well. And this information has brought that verb to life for me 🎨
In fact, Ella Verbs has brought ***Spanish*** to life for me.
These developers have somehow figured out just the right thing to do at exactly the right time to help me learn, and *understand* what I’m learning. I’m even beginning to read a bit of news in original Spanish!!! I’m going to be able to read novels in original Spanish as well. All because of this app. Now that I’m using Ella Verbs every day, Spanish is beginning to feel more natural, not only on Ella Verbs, but elsewhere as well.

Learning Spanish verbs and their many conjunctions can be quite daunting. This app leads you through the process logically step by step. One great aspect is that the developers will answer any question that you may have with clear answers and guidance. Well worth the investment. I am certainly pleased to have been a long time user of this learning aid. Thank you.

Best app for learning Spanish in the App Store.
I found one of the hardest parts about learning Spanish is the verbs and verb tenses. On the basis of practice makes perfect this little app lets you practice your verb conjugations all day long (if you want). Got an idle 5 mins, open the app. Slowly, slowly over time and almost without realising Preterite Indefinido v Imperfecto become second nature - as an example. The app is highly customisable for your preferred style - eg flashcards versus typing.

Provides good context and usage and the ability to practice, including custom practice. I just wish it were not so expensive.

This is a wonderful app for anyone who is stuck getting to the next step in their Spanish speaking journey. Verbs were the most challenging obstacle in my path, but this app helped me immensely.

Verb Heaven!
I am so thankful for this app! I have been struggling with conjugation and this explains things so well. I’m actually understanding how to break verbs down to their stem and work from there. Highly recommend this app.
A lifesaver
To me the conjugations are the most difficult part of learning Spanish but this app has made it so much easier. I highly recommend.
Excellent
This is such a great app. There is no short cut to leaning verbs but this app made it much easier. I used it on the bus and practiced with the tests at each level. The explanations are very useful and the interface is easy to use and not crowded. Highly recommend.
Great app. But..
To pass the levels you have to get at least 28 right. If you make an error or doing these god forsaken irregular verbs. Just might as well start over. End up spending 30 to an hour just trying to pass the level sometimes. Or I just end up having to use Google Translate since some levels just throw way too many irregular verbs at you at once.
(Update, this is actually a really great app. I was just a little frustrated that day and the developers cleared up some confusion. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️)

Like never, ever. However, this app is so good, I felt it deserved a genuine tip of the cap. I’ve been actively taking classes and doing group with a tutor for almost two years and I’ve tried most all of the free Spanish language learning content that’s out there. This app, for me, has been the best free version period. It’s clear and concise. The lessons and explanations make perfect sense and the quizzes are excellent. I will be upgrading to the pro because they provide so much of learning foundation as it is, I know the pro will fully unlock my speech and understanding.

Really worth using
I am finding this app so helpful. I was really struggling with conjugation but now I’m using Ella Verbs regularly correct conjugation is coming far more naturally. So many Spanish learning apps do not focus enough on conjugation, therefore making it difficult to progress. I use this alongside a regular Spanish app and have noticed a lot of improvement in my ability.

Better than Duolingo
I needed something that allowed me to specifically focus on verbs (while still giving me my precious streak.) I also love that it isn’t cluttered with worthless flashy chests and skins like Duolingo has become and focuses on the learning with the dopamine being from completing a lesson and keeping your streak, not a million time sucking distractions. The customer service is phenomenal too!
