Too buggy to use the app. And asked for my medical record without choice.
The app is badly designed and too buggy to use. I purchased my Elo gummy and received an email to download the app. However, the app requires me to connect with my Apple Health to access to my medical records. But I don’t want to share my medical data! I feel like it’s forcing me to do so otherwise I would not be able to use the app. I also couldn’t skip “data sharing” otherwise the app page will stuck. The concept of the product is great, but execution and delivery of the product (yes particularly the app) is so bad that I feel like a trap.

App in bad shape, Protein powder is pretty good
I’ll start by saying that their protein powder is definitely my favorite of the many that I have tried. That said, their app is in very bad shape. I wanted to simply update the number of bags I get a month, and it wouldn’t let me. I encountered many issues like payment methods on verifying, Apple Pay not working, the protein powder randomly changing to GLP-1 powder before checkout etc. Their customer support is responsive but now I don’t even get notifications for when they reply, which makes it difficult to follow.
Please fix your app! I would like to continue supporting but this is becoming a headache.

Can’t Setup
Requiring a connection to Apple health is one thing, but also having to connect doctor records to Apple health to even log into account is a bit too far.
Not helpful
It won’t let me login without sharing my health app and PHI first. I’m not interested in sharing all of that information with a vitamin company. Why can’t I just access my formula? I’ve been trying to gain access to this app without success for several days now.
Good luck canceling
I ordered online and not via the app. The only way to cancel the subscription is via the app. Unfortunately, if you don’t order through the app you can’t find where to cancel or to know you have to download the app. Oh, in order to download the app to cancel to have to agree to all their terms and conditions first.

Terrible experience and customer service
Honestly I wouldnt have given Elo a chance if I knew they were gonna lose my first test, not send me any supplements and still charge me the $100. When I’ve tried to talk to them about getting my money refunded they’re just ignoring me which speaks for the quality of customer service they have and the type of business they’re running

This is the one to watch
As a long time citizen scientist concerning my own health and well being, this app is forging new ground. The content and behavioral stuff is above average, sure, but what stands out is that we are actually taking time-based measurement of what is going on inside the body, applying intervention, and then re-measuring, and re-applying on a rolling basis. This should be the new bar for all other players. The UX isn't totally smoothed out end to end yet, but it is better than most and for what they’re actually doing, it’s way ahead of the pack. I’m in it for the long haul.

Never received results
It’s been over a month and still no results, no supplements, nothing. They do not have a phone number for support. The chat takes a long time to respond. Very disappointed! Paid for 2 months with no product or service received!

I’m usually good at remembering to take my supplements but Elo app made me look forward to click that box every day, done! I really like how I can see my biomarker results and get more info on each one via scientific studies and articles. Messing with my nutrition coach is super easy and she answers pretty much instantly.

Great app for taking health, fitness and longevity seriously
If you really care about your health this is the best app I can recommend. I use a mix of apps for tracking activity, weight, nutrition, etc and this is my favorite since it isn’t just an app, it’s an app backed by a service that made it easier to achieve my goals. I went from some unhealthy markers, cholesterol/weight/etc, to healthy within a few months. Sending this to all my fiends now that it’s available to everyone. Good luck everyone!

The Elo program is a very easy way to understand more about the impact your nutritional habits have on your body. Based on that knowledge, the custom supplement mix will then make you healthier. Elo has made what used to only be accessible via doctor visit / blood test entirely doable without leaving your home.
