Timer

Could you please add a non-timed setting?

Eloquent - Review ☺️

Loving it so far! cool concept and good education indeed 🙏 I'm definitely not the fastest reader out there Jeje so it takes me a bit before it runs out and i haven't actually pick an answer , can't wait to keep up the streaks

Good app

Fast-paced

Love Eloquent. A great fast-paced game that tests your reading and thinking speed together.

Could be better

Not enough time to get through description and/ir sentence!

Awful timing

Countdown is little to nothing. Awful setup. Would be great if there was more settings or at least a decent countdown

Good idea, poor dev

The idea of this is quite good, but the questions go way to fast to read so you can’t answer the question correctly. Needs to be slower or have 3 modes beginner, intermediate and expert for it to work - your only mode I would say is expert, and way too fast.

Great idea but impossible to play

Great concept, but the time limit makes it impossible to play. I can’t even read the prompt in two seconds, let alone answer it.To make things worse, nobody seems to be fixing the issue. I’ve seen comments from 4 and 2 years ago addressing the same issue and still no improvement. Please fix it.

Nice idea

This game would be great. The problem is you have about 3 seconds to read the description of the word, read the words and choose the correct one. For me, this is not nearly amount time for anything. There is no option to change the amount of time…

I can't read that fast

The timer is ridiculously fast and distracting. I have English as a second language and while I really like the concept of the game, I'm not even done reading the definition before the timer is up. This makes it pretty useless as a game.

Ms. Clemens

Looking forward to playing your new game

Too fast

The timer goes by too fast. Especially since the definitions of the words are sometimes full length sentences that would take me more than two seconds to read and take a guess

Great concept.

Would be better if the timer wasn’t so fast or even there at all.

Great game but

I am not a native English speaker.
So when I decided to install this language sharpening tool I envisioned it with features and options.
Let me explain:
This game could be fantastic if you could chose the amount of time you have to read.
Also it would be nice if there were some categories, or levels of eloquence.
That’s about it.

Too fast

This could be a really fun app, but the timer counts down so quickly, it’s ridiculous. There is no way to adjust the timer, have to delete what could have been fun

Seems like a great app but TOO FAST to enjoy

I like the idea of the app, but it would sure be nice if I could adjust the speed of the timer.
It goes so fast that I just get discouraged and give up rather than motivating me to get faster.

Maybe allow the user a little control over the timer? Challenge them to try it faster next time. Stuff like that.

Too fast.

I can barely read a couple words of the definition before the time runs out. This game needs to allow you to turn off the timer or at least self adjust depending on how many words are on the screen.
