Greed

Looks like the greedy devs killed this game before it could even launch

Beautiful but busy

This game is visually and sonically beautiful, but I'm dumping it because it's just way, way too complicated. It's impossible for me to find my way around in it because there are just too many pathways leading into pathways leading into pathways...and another shortcoming is that there's no character development. I can't exactly put my finger on why, but in, for example, Pixel Saga: Squad RPG (my current favorite game), each champion has a distinct identity in my mind – I can tell every one from every other one. In this game, I just collect tons of characters and aside from slight differences in their appearance, they're all basically the same to me. This may be largely because there are just so many of them. Landing a high tier character doesn't seem very special because you land a lot of them, and, for me, at least, there's not much to distinguish one from another.

So between these two marks against the game, I'm deleting it from my phone. Kind of a shame, because the artwork and the music are so beautiful, but the sheer complexity of the game/UI in particular is a big turn off for me, so away I go…

Good experience

Poor reward

They cut the campaign reward s to global players and think a one time 70 pull was enough to make up for this a pure scam was a good game up until I found this out

Global Version of Elpis Feels Heavily Nerfed Compared to JP. Unfair Treatment of Global Players

The global version of Elpis: Fallen Star is much less free-to-play friendly than the Japanese version. Rewards in nearly every part of the game have been reduced by about 50%, making progression feel slow and unfair. Examples: Story stage: JP gets 200 gems, Global gets 50 (150 gem difference) Chapter clear: JP gets 500 gems, Global gets 300 Hollow Rift: 120 gems in JP, 60 in Global Daily login: 100 gems in JP, 50 in Global Cumulative daily rewards: halved in Global Abyss Exchange: 3 mats = 120 gems in JP, 60 in Global Abyss gem cap: 12,000 in JP, 6,000 in Global PvP milestone rewards: halved in Global Daily boss clear: 50 gems in JP, 25 in Global PvP weekly rewards: only gem source that remains unchanged Originite (premium currency) is also handled worse in Global: JP gets it from first-time resource stage clears, level-up rewards (2 every few levels), and event shops. Global players get none of these. Beyond rewards, some character rarities were changed in Global without notice: Jessica and Ghostqueen are 4-star in JP, but 5-star in Global. Saico is 3-star in JP, but 4-star in Global. These are strong units, so increasing their rarity makes them harder to get, dupe, and upgrade. Also, JP players receive Ivorywing on day 3 login, while Global gets Ghostqueen, who is a weaker unit. Overall, the Global version feels like a downgraded experience with reduced rewards, hidden changes, and increased pressure to spend money. The publishers’ response to all this was to offer an event granting around 7 standard ten-pulls while refusing to adjust any of the actual reward systems in Global. Basically telling Global players to “shut up.”

Watch out

The global version of Elpis is way less F2P friendly than the other versions of the game. We are getting 50% less rewards across the board.

Global version gets less rewards

Not sure why, but global players are getting half the rewards compared to other version. It’s blatantly obvious who they like better. I don’t write many reviews, but I have to let other people know.

Dreadful devs

Sadly the devs are determined to crash the game in global, we only get 50% of the rewards as jpn do, and they’ve increased the rarity of the better 4* characters to 5* for global. Shame as art is gorgeous, and the tactical gameplay and story are decent.

Don’t waste your time!!!

I tried the game and the game really does punish you in your pulls. The 4 stars are like 5 stars pull with the regular 5 stars. Also all the rewards are cut to 50% or more. The energy gain to do anything takes too long too. Good luck to all who still support this game. They will cash grab and go.

Solid Gatcha game

My favorite aspect of the so far was the SHORT intro and lack of a lengthy tutorial. Beautiful scenes and wonderful artwork. The story is ok but may get better as I progress more.

Another game shafting global

Don’t support this game. They nerfed free currency, upgraded rarity on meta 4 stars, and upgraded a 4 Star to 5 and gave us that instead of the actual 5 Star that was there originally. They don’t deserve your time or money

Do not play global ver.

50% less rewards on global is insane, could we PLEASE get like 20% more for global version? that it takes ages to grind out pulls and i swear my luck is terrible. After the initial pool of starter resources dwindles, its boring to either reroll your account for good characters, or try and play with bad characters.

Greedy

Reduce reward , change rarity of character from 4 star to 5 star , what a greedy

Poor treatment

They give us less rewards compared to the jp and cn versions….by a lot

The Japan version of this is WAY more generous

Woooo another gacha game that’s when goes to global the rewards are way worse…. YIPPIE SOOOOO WANTED THIS!!!!

Devs show us some love and prove the bad reviews wrong

Game is so beautiful, from
Music to art to voice. It’s actually fun and I love the dispatch feature makes everything go by faster don’t have to grind like a dummy. But it’s true what everyone say, global got less love, please make I up to us, I’m still showing support with the in game purchases… do your part back, release the rewards!

Money Grab

Honestly it’s a pretty dope game more or less what I like to play. However the rewarding system for global players is absolutely garbage compared to how games are in Japan. Definitely a money grab but will update review if this turns around

Low rewards

The game is pretty fun, but the owners have given us less rewards than both Chinese and Japan and it shows and it is unfortunate that it makes it less fun

Elpis: Fallen Star

Really good game. Haveing hard time with Grid. Thre o out of 5 stars ⭐️

Fix global rewards

The way they are treating us compare to Jp players is outrageous wild they reduced our rewards by half compare to jp server and selling a pack that worth 1$ but to us global players for 10$
