Bloated

This email client is sooo slow. It takes 20secs to connect to my email server when other clients take 2 secs. Either the app is full of heavy bugs or they are just constantly sending personal data and telemetrics to their own server.

Slow, Glitchy

I’ve reviewed this app before and got a response that didn’t make sense. I have used this app for quite a few years, I upgraded to the Edison Mail + and it’s no better. It slow most of the time, glitchy and non responsive when searching and trying to open a past email and constantly gives me alerts that I have email when I don’t. I only check email on my phone 98% of the time.

Difficult to chat

Well it difficult for me to see and chat because I have use the Gmail since my childhood so can you please do something about it to be like the Gmail feathers??!

An excellent email App with great support

Summary: this email App is superb, and so is the support that they give you. The Custom Mail Rules, available in the Mail+ upgrade, are excellent and very useful.

Details: I had been using the free version for a year or so and was very happy with it. I had found it to be the best email App to deal with my multi email accounts. But, I recently started to suffer with a lot of spam and thought the Mail Rules available in the Mail+ upgrade would help in filtering the spam emails into a spam folder - and it now does do that - very well.
During the setup of these Mail Rules I had some problems and contacted support who gave me thoughtful and respectful advice very quickly too, considering the time zone difference. They seemed committed to finding a solution for my problem, rather than dismissing it as just a user error. The problem was identified and I was able to resolve it.
All in all I find the whole Edison Mail experience to be superb and thoroughly recommend it. I also recommend the upgrade to Mail+ which gives a lot of very useful extra features.

Better than the Apple mail!

I wanted a new email app because I was getting glitches with the Apple mail app. The largest issues for that for me was that many of my emails, usually from larger businesses, would take forever to load, and that Apple kept on changing the swipe functions on me.
I then went to download Gmail, but my phone OS didn’t support it unfortunately.
That led me to this app, Edison Mail, which has been a huge improvement over this, even just the free version! Right out of the gate, it led me on a quick tour of the ecosystem, and then continued to give onetime tips on settings and features I could use if I wanted. A quick setup and introduction for sure. I have been happy with what it offers for settings and customization. Most importantly for me, it loads my mail fast and also has nice swipe functions that are customizable.
The widgets that it offers are awesome too.
- if you’re looking for a new email app, this one could be for you!

The only pone

App was great

I keep having issues as of late. Attachments won't load, app freezes when searching for an email. I've had to uninstall several times.
This app used to be great and my go to for email for years. I'm starting to look for alternatives.

It keeps dropping my assigned signature and can not find the one have using for three years.

Also I see emails and a hour later they are gone…. Not in spam..not deleted… not in archive….gone

Used to be great

App used to be great but lately it’s been laggy, takes a long time to load emails and has been freezing. Almost unusable so looking for a new provider.

Long-standing issues still not fixed

*****SEARCH function totally useless and broken, seems to do a complete wildcard search query rather than the actual WORDS and STRING I'm looking at. Who is developing this app?!?******

It now keeps asking if I want to block calls from random emails? why?

Other issues: Have to open email twice for it to be read. Swiping to open email results in massive delay in actually opening email. Reading an email still keeps notification banner there which means I have to clear it even when I read the email?? Showing badge icons even when all mail is opened. Reopening the app a second time makes it go away. ??? months(years?) later still not fixed. Sometimes shows 2x number of unread emails than is actually in inbox.

Wonderful App

Very pleased with features

Be upfront about the cost, please

Went through the process of adding an email server where I had to copy and paste all the settings because it wouldn’t automatically detect them only to find that it’s actually a paid app. Be honest please and make that reality upfront.
