I no longer trust this oximeter
This app works very well with my new EMAY oximeter. The report goes into great detail. I can just look at the summary or dig down to see results minute by minute. Reports can be exported as a PDF or CSV, making it easy to share with my doctor.

After more experience with the oximeter and this app, I am taking away a star. Readings are reportedly taken every second and are shown that way in the reports. However, I had a brief AFib event while testing the oximeter that lasted about two minutes. A separate fingertip oximeter confirmed my elevated pulse rate during that time. However, the EMAY report showed continuous readings, but with a rate about 30 bpm too low.

I no longer trust the readings from this oximeter. During the time it was recording tonight while I was still awake and laying still, the report showed an SpO2 drop from 98% to 79% in 7 seconds. There is no way that could be accurate.

More updates
Please make more updates to this app, I like it but needs updated
Doesn’t display data
I loaded the data, it says downloading and after finishing it, it does not display the data at all. I have the latest software 1.13.2 on my iPhone. It also displayed yesterday’s data with year 2036 in the report screen. However today, it goes thru the motion of connect via blue tooth, downloading but no display for today.

Worthless
Device can’t connect to the app on Bluetooth…. Device Not Found. Big waste of time.
Great Product / Poor Privacy
The physical oximeter works great.
But the app is very crafty in how it harvests your data.
First, under the guise of seeking your age it seeks your full data of birth. …workaround - give a junk date of birth.
Second it asks for your email .., without an option for me to use Apple ID with masked email. … workaround - give a junk email ID.
Third ..the UI for cloud sharing is confusingly worded and the service is not required. As is the UI for sharing with Apple Health. Luckily it doesn’t force one to share from Apple Health.

Returned without using
Don't use health apps that require account to view data!
Does not sync with finger in
Needs warning about that
Worthless If It Won't Connect To The App
device will not connect to the app via bluetooth....back to Amazon it goes
App not working!!
The bugs are definitely not fixed because the app won’t even turn on. I click on it and then it shuts off instantly. Please fix!!!!!
Easy to use, needs pro features
Great basic app, great features including sync to apple health and I love the reports. However all you get is the pulse and o2. Lack of waveform or perfusion makes it difficult to judge accuracy.
Needs tweaking
This app produces wonderful reports that are downloadable. But what do all the numbers mean? I would appreciate some better explanations in layman’s terms. Also, the interface…white letters on a light gray background make it really hard to see menu items.
Well designed device and app
I’ve tried several consumer-grade recording pulse oximeters, and EMAY is by far the best. It’s hard for me to say how the accuracy compares with an FDA certified medical device, but I’ve found the device and the app it to be reliable, well designed and easy to use. The reporting is detailed and well organized, and the raw data is available for those who are interested. It’s easy to get both the reports and the raw data from my phone to my computer. Highly recommended.
