Doesn’t stick

Seeing the information about my day: how much I love and what happens to me when I eat and when I eat has been great. The problem is that I work outdoors as a barn manager- moving horses, bales of hay, feed bags and this summer has been quite warm. One sensor lasted 4 days and the other under 2 with a “waterproof” patch that I bought separately. I am an older overweight woman with flabby arms so is the problem the placement? Is there another place to put it- the manual gives no other information. Otherwise the app is very informative when the sensor sticks. By

Great info!

This cgm has been very helpful. I am taking prednisone, which raises blood glucose, for an autoimmune condition. This helps me see my glucose level in real time. It allows me to easily see how foods are effecting my glucose. It is immediately actionable data. I can get some exercise to bring my glucose down when it’s high and it has allowed me to see how adding fiber and protein helps stabilize my glucose levels.

The cgm is easy to apply and I did not find it at all painful. I had an issue with the first one getting damaged when I hit it on a door frame accidentally and they happily and promptly sent me a free replacement.

Empowering

What I like most is that it keeps me motivated and guides me to make smart healthy choices and I can see the benefits and difference in real time thank you

Put control in my hands

I’ve been doing this for 2 years now. I do them 4 times a year to give me the control and assess my diet and if I need to adjust. Recently going thru menopause, I noticed my blood sugars all over the place. I began do the monitor monthly than practice what was working and instal new habits into my life. I found for my body increasing fatty acids and fish oils did an amazing job of stabilizing my body. My doctor knew very little about this. Using this tool gave me the power to track, manage and change habits for my biology.

Bad customer service

My device wouldn’t pair. I bought it at Walmart. I took it off they said the would send another. It never arrived. They said it delivered but I checked out security we didn’t have any deliveries that day I notified them. They’ve stopped responding to my emails. I’m not sure if it was the device or app but neither worked and I’m out 50$.
