Honest review

I have had 8 lingo devices. 4 purchased, 4 replaced. 2 of the devices failed during the countdown to get started; pretty painful to remove. Initially customer service was hard to get ahold of. Since then, they have better at replacing the device that goes out. They do stand by their guarantee. I got the data I wanted from the device, despite still not fully understanding what a “lingo” is.

Just my two cents

I really like that I can see my levels whenever I want. I can now see exactly how different food affects me and how long a spike last. What I don’t like is I live in a hot climate and have a problem with the thing falling off when I’m outside doing yard work or whatever. I’ve lost two in under 10 days. It’s getting expensive quickly.

Good concept

Constantly disconnects. Trouble connecting. Very annoying.

Helpful but frustrating

The basic information provided is very useful. However, there are some rough edges. It is difficult to go back more than one day to see a tend. There is no explanation that I can find for how the lingo count is calculated and how it affects me. The documentation for replacing the sensor is inaccessible. I tried to replace my sensor because it had less than twelve hours left and had to wait until the old one died before I could pair the new one. A few updates:
1. I found the menu item to export the history to a csv file that can be opened with excel.
2. There are now menu items that allow you to end a device early and when you do end a device for whatever reason there is a menu item to replace the device.
