Much improvement!
I took the time to write a negative review, It is only fair to say something positive. The app has been improved ten fold, I have had zero issues for sometime and pleased now. Thank you for the efforts to improve. I do recommend this app now.

I downloaded the app according to the instructions on my fireplace. The fireplace shows up on the app. When I click the fireplace the app gives me an error “error(12)” and just doesn’t work. There is no support or information about this problem. Do not buy a product that requires this app or return it if this is a feature you want.

Does this App even work?
It has yet to accomplish a single thing or even give me a remote idea of how to fix whatever is wrong. The issue looks to be that it is just simply outdated and doesn't work with newer phones.

This app is unreliable. Sometimes it connects and sometimes not. I am literally less than 5 feet from the fireplace and it can’t seem to find it .

This app works when IT wants too. Never consistent. TERRIBLE APP would be great if it always worked.
App Hardly Works
Application can rarely connect to “the server” when opened so you can never control the fireplace with your phone. No updates or bug fixes in over a year. Worthless.
Will not use because you require an account
I would like to give no stars, but have to give you one. I have not tried the app because you require me to create an account to enable Bluetooth control of the fireplace. That is an idiotic requirement and no one should be expected to allow you to collect information on them in order to enable an entirely local connection to the fire place. One of the reasons we chose this fireplace was that it offered Bluetooth control. There was no mention of you monitoring use in our home.
