Actually Awesome

Love this app, so had to review! It’s helped me better understand things about my migraines that I wasn’t even aware of before. The design is beautiful, and it’s easy to operate during an attack. I’ve tried other tracking apps, but they were annoying. Definitely recommend Ember!

Response from developer

Thank you for your support! Being easy to use during an attack, and never annoying, were the two things I cared about most when designing Ember, so this is good to hear. Patterns get clearer as you log more days, so there should be more to see in a few months. If anything in the app ever does annoy you, email hello@cascadeheadache.com and I’ll look at it. -Sam

Ember Migraine Tracker phenomenal!

My neurologist and NP encouraged me to keep a calendar to track my migraines. It was cumbersome, marking migraine days, meds taken, triggers, and symptom. I never kept up with it.

Ember changed all that and it’s been amazing! Once set up, I click through all categories on one screen. The calendar uses colors that don’t exacerbate the pain when I have a migraine, and is invaluable.

I also get a reminder every night at 9pm to track my day so the calendar is accurate.

I share it with my provider so she can see everything before my appointment so we can talk everything through. This app has been immensely helpful in tracking my migraines.

My provider also loves it and has suggested it to her patients.

Response from developer

Thank you for writing this. I’m a headache specialist, and I built Ember because paper migraine calendars are hard to keep up with, especially on bad days. It means a lot that your provider is recommending it to her patients. Version 1.2.0 is out now with clearer reports and treatment insights, which should make your visits easier! If anything ever gets in your way, email me at hello@cascadeheadache.com. -Sam
