After trying several readings apps in past years, Embertale is the one that actually stuck. The recommendations actually feel personalized, and the app even explains why it thinks I’ll like something before I even start the book. There are so many cool features to discover on here, and the modern aesthetic is amazing!!
Bonus points for being ad-free, not selling user data, and being built by an indie team of readers instead of a mega-corp. It’s rare to find an app this well-made that still feels this personal. Highly recommend if you want a reading app that you can trust, is easy to set up, and does all the fun things.

I love this app!
I’ve been using this app for a few weeks now. It’s CRAZY that it has so many awesome features is such a short amount of development time! The dev is a master of his craft. It’s never been easier or less time consuming to create a digital copy of your library. It’s never been easier to get amazing personalized book recommendations. It’s super interesting to be given insights into your reading habits. And it’s just fun to use all around. I genuinely think every reader should be on Embertale!
