It was amazing when there was a severe thunderstorm watch it alerted me! Just perfect! I recommend it if you like being updated or are wanting to keep other people safe like loved ones.

So I have had this app for a little bit and I love this app it notifies me quickly and it even gave me a warning before the actual Emergency alert I think that this app would be good during a storm or natural disaster because of all the toggles like strobe light to help people find you in dark and alarm and a flashlight that is brighter than my actual flashlight on my phone. Love this app! I definitely recommend it for emergency situations!

Maps Useless in Version 5.2.1
The Hurricane map that shows hurricanes and tropical storms does not include a map! The storm track & shelters float in white space. I am using an iPhone 16 Pro with iOS 26.5.2.

I can’t give a five star because the map is wrong. It says golf of America America and that’s actually wrong! You’ll get a five star when you change it back to Gulf of Mexico.

Best alert app. Does a great reliable job picking up all alerts and notifying you promptly.

In the weather it said a typhoon warning(the typhoon is called Bawei) but in this app said no typhoon

such a good app helps you with weather conditions and what you know customize your location and tell you exactly what to do during that alert. It is a great app. I recommend getting it to my personal. It also gives you alert on how to prepare for each storm really good

Don’t wake me for stuff I can’t do anything about!
You’re waking me up at night for an air quality alert? Fire, tornado, flood, yes. Please wake me so I can save my life or home. But please give me the option to turn off sounds for non life threatening events without turning the sound off for everything.
Long duration emergencies are a problem
The issue with long duration emergencies is that there is no way to acknowledge and stop the notifications for these. For example, we are under an extreme heat warning and it keeps sending me alerts every few minutes, sometimes for days. It’s become “cry wolf” and I am just ignoring all notifications from this app and ready to turn them ALL off because it’s unnecessary to keep notifying me. I wish I could tick a box about these and they would stop sending notifications, but it’s all or nothing.

Worth it honestly 👍🏼
This all is honestly worth it cause it shows where is affected. Even though it scares the life out of me when the alarm goes off, it’s useful AF, 5 stars.
Didn’t work
I set this up to notify me of tornado warnings. Well, we had a tornado warning and it did nothing. Thanks for risking my life! Do better!

I just installed this and set everything up to alert me of a tornado warning and tens minutes later they issued a tornado warning and not one single alert from this app ! Glad my wives phone alerted us with her weather app this app failed miserably! Don’t rely on this with your life it will fail you !
