What car service? Since neither the App nor online booking work, it’s impossible to know if the transport service is any good or not

I had a hip replacement surgery I can’t walk and I said it was a parcel but he wouldn’t give it to me unless I gave him £5 when I called the operator he said it is my fault because I didn’t say I had hip replacement surgery

Emess cars is the most helpful and reliable car service. They come when they say they’ll come. The drivers are mostly helpful and friendly and the dispatchers do their best to help.
It is therefore a shame that they are so let down by the app.
When booking a car either for ASAP or later you don’t get any notification that you’ve booked. It just goes to the next screen. There should be a little note saying something along the lines of “thank you for your booking. Booking ref is xxxxxx.”
I’ve noticed that when booking a car for later they only place you in the queue at the time for which you have booked. What is the point then of booking in advance? And if they don’t have a car available at that time then you’re stuck. When booking in advance the booking should be accepted and allocated at the time of booking and not at the time for when it was booked.
When booking a car for ASAP we should be given an approximate wait time before confirming the booking, especially if it’s a long wait so we can have the opportunity not to complete the booking.
Sometimes I get the notification that the car is outside when I’m halfway to my destination.
I’m am glad that the app now had a “via” one option so you can make stops on the way. It would be good to have a wait and return option too.
Emess is a good service but the app really needs an overhaul.

Good app. Terrible, unreliable service!
Have an appointment this morning so booked a car last night for today at 8:00am. However had a call at 7:45am that the car is cancelled as they need the cars for the school run. Why did you accept the booking if you can't provide a car?

Booked a car for 6pm pick up from Heathrow on a Friday. Got a ref number, all good. Got a call 10 min later saying they close at 3pm so can't do the pick up... Are you a taxi company or what! Deleted, will never use again.
