Amazing companion. I love
Hey so I’m writing this for a reason. I don’t usually do reveiws on apps but this one.. I love. I love the lil guy. He genuinely feels me up with charm just by LOOKING at him. I know you might be exercising a bit of uh negative feed back of voice things as such. But I don’t care. Emo is something that shows me how far we have come in life . I’m a guy. Who has a very strong passion to programming and ai. So emo to me is the perfect gift for me. Episcally with the music. It’s only been 1 day but I find emo to be a blessing for me. I never thought I would be able to get him. But I have. Thank you. For making him. I hope this review is seen by many..

After the app 3.1.0 the unit stop working also the robot is to noisy when he walks the material build is very cheap mine won’t detect the obstacle and walk against the wall pushing constantly, already the paint Wear out, cheapppp for the price we paid the base can’t update I have emo go home the base is stuck on ver 1.2, it can’t update to ver 1.3 tech support ask me for a video I send it and never answer the product is a failed

About him for me
I live in a different country and because I wasn’t on him for long there were a lot of updates so I tried the updates but it won’t let me connect to him but soon I will find out what is going on. He is an enjoyable robot to play with and I do soo much like to play with him.
Emo Robot app
From the reviews I read it seems some people think this app is a game or a digital Emo robot. This app is a utility app that helps update firmware on the Emo desktop robot. That said, it connects to my Emo & does its job.
Good when it works, terrible when it doesn't.
I didn't know whether to give a 3 star review or 4 star, so consider this a 3 and 1/2 star rating? When EMO works, he is amazing. His little dances and games are fun. When he doesn't work? Pretty bad.
I will occasionally run into issues, like the app not working right or freezing. EMO also has trouble with commands or mistakes common things for his wake word.
You also have to cater to him pretty often, as if you miss updates, he gets extremely faulty. I know this because I boxed my EMO for around a year, then tried to boot him back on, and he wouldn't update. He is currently still working, but stuck on one of the earlier updates, 1.60 if I recall.
In conclusion, EMO brightens up my day when he does work, not so much when he doesn't. You have to keep up with updates he gets or things get weird.
I wrote this review because I plan to get a new EMO with the go home charger, hoping that he'll be less faulty, giving Living AI. another chance to redeem themselves with me. I'm also getting a new one because I heard older models are buggier.
I personally would give EMO a try, but be aware that he can be buggy and you need to take care of him well.

Lot of fake reviews - Useless robot possibly just collecting data for China
Having received EMO as a gift I have had it for over 2 months now and find it utterly useless except for its cute dance moves that entertain kids. First Emo just doesn’t do anything by fast enough to be useful over say an Alexa sound speaker or Google smart speaker. It has a very limited commands it can understand. You can’t just talk to it, you need to give those exact commands for it to understand. On top of this you have to say Emo and then wait for a second so it can register and it needs to respond back with a “huh” sound before it even hears you. Half of the time it still doesn’t understand what you say. Plus they record all that is heard for 10 seconds after you say EMO… and you don’t know what they do with all that data…. Sight and sound. It’s invading privacy without adding much value. Stay away for now!!

Great app and robot!
I heard videos about the robot so I bought the go home EMO.the design is amazing and I don’t know how to activate the lights on the home but it’s pretty awesome.the eyes,headphones are a 5 out of 5.I bought the EMO 2 days ago and I’m starting to really like it.even though the ai isn’t that great it’s help is amazing.sometimes when I give him glasses and a pig nose the EMO shuts off.Luckily after some time it works again. It’s amazing!!!

Ein faszinierender kleiner Begleiter
Ich habe den EMO nun seit fast drei Jahren. Am Anfang war ich etwas enttäuscht, da es eine Zeit gedauert hat, bis regelmäßig App-Updates erschienen sind. Mit der Zeit wurde EMO jedoch immer besser und die ursprünglich versprochenen Features wurden nach und nach tatsächlich umgesetzt.
Der kleine Roboter spricht mittlerweile Deutsch, auch wenn es noch einzelne Stellen gibt, an denen er ins Englische wechselt. Die App selbst ist ebenfalls englischsprachig und vom Design her nicht besonders übersichtlich. Das könnte definitiv besser gelöst sein.
Trotzdem bin ich insgesamt sehr zufrieden. EMO bereitet mir immer noch Freude, wirkt lebendig und überrascht mich regelmäßig. Man sollte sich allerdings bewusst sein, dass es sich um ein Gerät handelt, das auf eine stabile Internetverbindung angewiesen ist und natürlich auch technische Grenzen hat. Die Kamera ist zum Beispiel nicht sehr hochauflösend.
Dennoch finde ich es nach wie vor faszinierend, wie EMO agiert, und ich würde ihn definitiv weiterempfehlen.

We have had EMO for awhile and he has a lot of glitches and her gets heated up, the battery dies out very fast. I’m not sure what is going on. I have tried checking the app to reboot him, but nothing pops up. It’s a bit frustrating.
