About

EmoNew is an app designed to gently support children who have difficulty managing strong emotions such as tantrums, frustration, anger, sadness, or anxiety. Some children find it hard to put their feelings into words. Instead, those feelings may come out as anger, crying, frustration, or emotional outbursts. Parents may also wonder: “Why is my child so upset?” “How should I respond during a tantrum?” “My child cannot explain how they feel.” “It takes a long time for them to calm down.” EmoNew helps children notice, name, and organize their emotions in a simple and approachable way. By choosing how they feel with just a tap, children can make their emotions more visible and gradually practice understanding and expressing them. 【What EmoNew Can Help With】 ・Tantrums and emotional outbursts ・Difficulty calming down ・Anger and frustration ・Anxiety and sadness ・Difficulty expressing feelings ・Trouble switching from one emotion to another ・Parent-child communication about emotions 【Main Features】 ■ Identify and visualize feelings Children can choose emotions such as happy, sad, angry, anxious, or frustrated. ■ Support for emotion labeling Children can practice noticing how they feel and putting a name to that emotion. ■ Simple calming strategies The app provides easy-to-follow ideas for calming down based on the selected emotion. ■ Guidance for parents Parents can see simple suggestions for how to respond, what to say, and how to support their child in the moment. ■ Emotion history Recorded emotions can be reviewed later to help parents and children notice patterns over time. ■ Feelings Lab Children can look at facial expressions and everyday situations and think, “How might this person feel?” This feature supports emotion recognition, emotional understanding, and perspective-taking through simple practice. 【Recommended For】 ・Parents looking for help with child tantrums ・Children who have difficulty expressing feelings ・Children who struggle with anger or frustration ・Children who need more time to calm down ・Families interested in emotion labeling ・Parents who want to support emotional regulation ・Families who want to talk more about feelings ・Children learning to recognize their own emotions and the emotions of others EmoNew is not designed to simply make children suppress anger or stop crying. Instead, it helps children notice emotions such as anger, sadness, anxiety, frustration, excitement, and happiness, and gradually learn how to understand and express them. Using the app during calm moments can also help children build a habit of asking themselves: “How do I feel right now?” Small, everyday practice can support emotional awareness, self-expression, emotional regulation, and communication between children and parents. Try EmoNew as a simple way to make talking about feelings part of everyday life. ※ EmoNew is not intended to provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
