The app lags, it will double send money

Best CU ever!
App is very user friendly. Love being able to do so much with it 24/7 - even messages about minor questions, or requests sent at 2:30 am get prompt replies the next business morning. I often get my payroll direct deposit one day early because of how quickly they are processed at Empeople. And don’t let the weird name fool you. Tellers and bankers know their stuff and are friendly, polite, and respectful. Their financial planners have helped me with investment options, including my IRA. Over the past 40 years, I’ve had personal, auto, and HELOC loans with them. I don’t even bother comparing interest rates because I know theirs will be the best. Highly highly recommend!!

Computer systems
I am just starting with the Empeople System - I was with TSB at Theresa. If I had a problem of any kind with banking, I would call TSB and most times get Lisa. She could always figure out what I needed for help and get it done by phone = that was nice. Now I call the Theresa branch, I get someone remote in Illinois ( that knocks out the hometown touch )! That I miss! Now my gripe = I just got off the phone with a nice lady from Illinois who helped me deposit a check! It should have been easy, but I couldn’t do it and I was getting mad. Enough getting no where. I called TSB, got a lady from Illinois, I walked through it with her coaching me = nice of her. However, I believe it would be MORE PRACTICAL to have the computer give suggestions after a time period of say 30 seconds as to what is needed to proceed to the completion of the transaction. My problem was that I had the check on a yellow tablecloth, the I tried red = would not work. When I went to BLACK, no problem. Now why can’t the computer give me hints as to WHY IT WONT TAKE ANY MORE INFO = thereby, getting me mad!!!

Update does not let you log in!
This is the worlds worst update! Everything is paperless now and I don’t know if I can pay my power bill because the update wants another update! Yes please kill all the trees so at least I can have power! You cannot log in to see how much money you have and are now forced to drive over an hour to an actual bank! Please fix now!!! Or we will definitely have to stop banking with you! And do this fast, we all know you pay people for this!

It forced me to update today; now it won’t even start. Just a blank green screen and nothing happens!

The app has many issues right now and will not allow me to do anything.
Update sucks
Ever since it was updated now I can never log in because face recognition never works and it goes to unlock for my phone and then it will just let anyone in it. And my deposit never works properly. Why fix something that isn’t broke?!
Problem
This app worked fine until I received a message that it needed to make my experience ‘safer.’ It locked me out of my account so that I have been nearly a year of inability to see any deposits or withdrawals and have to access an instant teller to see balances and guess what is cleared etc. very frustrating with zero options to get out of the endless loop of directions to upgrade to IOS 18.4 and then refuses the upgrade.
No one at the local branch can help. I’m considering switching CU’s to get another service as there seems to be nothing I can do. There was zero complaints by me WHO OWNS THE ACCOUNT about my safety with my monies. Now I can see none of the activities in my account — to feel safer!? Come on. This is ridiculous! Unacceptable. 🤬

I think it would be beneficial if your IT area looked at how Wells Fargo put their deposit software together. It is much more user-friendly.
