Information is power and Emporia Vue 3 provides valuable data about your energy usage. Installation was easy for a licensed electrician and Emporia works as advertised.
Too many updates
I’ve had my emporia vue for a long time and I can’t count the amount of times they have updated it and made it less user friendly. I wish they would slow down. Once you get use to the current app and understanding how to find the information you need they change it. The hardware is good. No complaints there. Overall I’m happy with the product I just think the dept that designs the app has more time on there hands then common sense.

Device is great, but app has many drawbacks.
1. Like many people, we live in a multi adult household, with two spouses, with both of us driving the EV and wishing to communicate with the system. The ID signin system is not very friendly to that. The app gives you no chance to use choose an email for your account, so it tries to sign into your phone's email account, which may not be the one you set up with, and then says, go away, you're the wrong guy. Also, the bluetooth does not pair well, and seems not able to understand working with more than one phone.
2. There is a "pause" command button during a charging session, but NOT one to end the session. So it's very easy to get "hung" on this app if you want to if you need to end the session early to unplug the charger and depart.
3. The app screens seem more suitable for people who are also using Emporia's energy monitor management and tracking module, a separate device. But we have all that functionality in our house solar system, so didn't install that, and the app occasionally seems baffled by this.

Impressive
Great product backed by an impressive app. Easy to use and it updates in real time. The ability to view data in multiple ways is outstanding.

Great energy monitor
I’m quite pleased and impressed with this 200$ whole home energy monitor and app. Easy to setup and had no issues during and post installation. It’s nice when a product works exactly like it states.
Precise
The energy meter is a great way to double check your utility bill. If something is using too much power then you can check out the app to see what is causing it.
Good as advertised
All I have to say is that this charger works great and the data it provides is top notch.
Excellent App Charger
I’ve been using the Emporia Pro charger and app for over a month now. It’s very easy to use and lots of good controls and great data. We’re very happy!
Used to be great but the latest interface update made it hard to use
You should change it back to the old interface. Hard to navigate with the new update.

Was great, but you ruined it
This app and product has been amazing for years, but what you’ve done recently makes it far too difficult to see the granular details that I’m used to looking at. I have seen no upside to whatever you did in the app, but I know it is much harder to see a real time view of a new appliance or troubleshoot a circuit now. Please put it back to the way it was.

I just wish a companies had products and customer service like this one. They really have it all. I especially like the excess solar function on thei chargers. As a solar panel and EV owner it adds value to both.

Very functional and useful. There have been instances where it was off line due to “server issues” which made it not possible to charge my car. But it was short-lived and within a couple hours, it was back on line

Great but still needs key features
This has been extremely helpful and my emporia system actually paid for itself within a month or two from all the wasted power use I found. There is still some important and easy to gather data that is missing such as knowing the reporting instantaneous power draw a circuit has experienced in a selected period of time. This would really help me know if I need to upgrade any circuits. Instead it will only show watt-hours or amp-hours, which doesn’t help with this. Also there send to be a 5%-10% “balance” of unaccounted for power despite my having all circuits monitored. I wish they made that easier to identify and offset.

Less intuitive
This a great app for calculating trailer hookup use at the ranch, however the latest update is terrible for navigating to the areas that matter.
