Great tool
This is a great tool to monitor the accuracy of your utility company. In addition you have real time access to your electricity usage.
Hour Bars
Please let me at least choose between the trend line and hour bars. I do not like the bars and am used to the trend line for the day view.
Great products, good app
I don’t like this latest change. Day usage was a line chart, now it’s bars. Give us the option to choose the format, or go back to the way it was. Lines are more useful to me for live, hourly, and the full day, because I need to see peaks and duration. Bars only show me an hourly total, which is not as useful. For week, month, and year—yes, a bar graph is better.

With excellent customer support from Aden, I was able to determine the exact improvement of having my 56 solar panels cleaned down to the minute of production.

Informational
The information is well organized and easy to review. We installed this charger for an EV and metrics can be analyzed if downloaded, but I wish this could be done on the website. For example, miles per Kwh.
Does the job
It was an easy install and works as advertised. I highly recommend this unit. It offers a lot of information and it wit let you know how much you’re spending and will break it down by day week month or year.
Does not correctly calculate energy between two date and times that are far apart
I was checking the miles/kWh for my EV and it seemed to be way off.
I looked closely at the data and changed the start and end dates numerous times and was able to determine that when the date range was wide (e.g. 18 days) that it was incorrectly including energy from the whole initial day and not just from the time I had chosen (6:22pm).
Please fix this bug.

Emporia Vue 3
Information is power and Emporia Vue 3 provides valuable data about your energy usage. Installation was easy for a licensed electrician and Emporia works as advertised.
Too many updates
I’ve had my emporia vue for a long time and I can’t count the amount of times they have updated it and made it less user friendly. I wish they would slow down. Once you get use to the current app and understanding how to find the information you need they change it. The hardware is good. No complaints there. Overall I’m happy with the product I just think the dept that designs the app has more time on there hands then common sense.

Device is great, but app has many drawbacks.
1. Like many people, we live in a multi adult household, with two spouses, with both of us driving the EV and wishing to communicate with the system. The ID signin system is not very friendly to that. The app gives you no chance to use choose an email for your account, so it tries to sign into your phone's email account, which may not be the one you set up with, and then says, go away, you're the wrong guy. Also, the bluetooth does not pair well, and seems not able to understand working with more than one phone.
2. There is a "pause" command button during a charging session, but NOT one to end the session. So it's very easy to get "hung" on this app if you want to if you need to end the session early to unplug the charger and depart.
3. The app screens seem more suitable for people who are also using Emporia's energy monitor management and tracking module, a separate device. But we have all that functionality in our house solar system, so didn't install that, and the app occasionally seems baffled by this.

Impressive
Great product backed by an impressive app. Easy to use and it updates in real time. The ability to view data in multiple ways is outstanding.

Great energy monitor
I’m quite pleased and impressed with this 200$ whole home energy monitor and app. Easy to setup and had no issues during and post installation. It’s nice when a product works exactly like it states.
Precise
The energy meter is a great way to double check your utility bill. If something is using too much power then you can check out the app to see what is causing it.
Good as advertised
All I have to say is that this charger works great and the data it provides is top notch.
Excellent App Charger
I’ve been using the Emporia Pro charger and app for over a month now. It’s very easy to use and lots of good controls and great data. We’re very happy!
Used to be great but the latest interface update made it hard to use
You should change it back to the old interface. Hard to navigate with the new update.
