I’ve been using the Emporia Pro charger and app for over a month now. It’s very easy to use and lots of good controls and great data. We’re very happy!

You should change it back to the old interface. Hard to navigate with the new update.

Was great, but you ruined it
This app and product has been amazing for years, but what you’ve done recently makes it far too difficult to see the granular details that I’m used to looking at. I have seen no upside to whatever you did in the app, but I know it is much harder to see a real time view of a new appliance or troubleshoot a circuit now. Please put it back to the way it was.

Very functional and useful. There have been instances where it was off line due to “server issues” which made it not possible to charge my car. But it was short-lived and within a couple hours, it was back on line

Great but still needs key features
This has been extremely helpful and my emporia system actually paid for itself within a month or two from all the wasted power use I found. There is still some important and easy to gather data that is missing such as knowing the reporting instantaneous power draw a circuit has experienced in a selected period of time. This would really help me know if I need to upgrade any circuits. Instead it will only show watt-hours or amp-hours, which doesn’t help with this. Also there send to be a 5%-10% “balance” of unaccounted for power despite my having all circuits monitored. I wish they made that easier to identify and offset.

Have been using the product for over seven years. Still on generation two but still operates flawlessly.
Widget
Love the app and the information that it gives me regarding my solar and energy usage. What would really be great is if you had a widget that I could put on my home screen that would show me energy consumption and production.

In the new app, everything is now showing in kWh making it super hard to tell individual appliance impacts to the circuit.
Useful
Easy to set up, gives detailed circuit monitoring and data availability. Slightly clunky app ux but usable.
Must Have
I was debating getting a new smart panel with my solar install but multiple quotes left me in the $7-10k range. After a couple hour install, I truly can’t believe that this product exists. The detailed monitoring is out of this world and I didn’t even make it through a week before I ordered the second kit to make sure I could monitor the whole home. To me, $400 vs $7-10k was a no brainer. I rarely give a 5 star rating but this one is well deserving!
