Could be much better
The application could be much if it would provide the ability to extract formatted bibliography entries that you could paste in a Pages document instead of the limited software that it is currently.
Good backbone, but missing essential parts
I love to read papers on the iPad as it gives me the possibility to scribble in the file. The pdf viewer is decent, but the missing hierarchy in the group system makes it really hard to organize. It’s also missing the read/unread button from the desktop version. Once these would be implemented, I would gladly recommend this app

Honestly I don’t think the developers had the user in mind when creating this app. It feels like a copy of the desktop database when in reality, people want this app to read and annotate. For instance, I tag papers that I want to read first, but this app doesn’t even support searching by tags.
Feature parity needed
As a long-time Endnote user, I very much appreciate having Endnote on my iPad as an extension of the desktop app and my reference database. However, the experience is diminished by features that are missing on the iPad version. Specifically, smart groups and tags, which are very useful organizational tools in the desktop version, are not available in the iPad app. As a result, I lose important elements of my reference organization on my iPad. Tags functionality, in particular, is at the top of my wish list for inclusion in the next update.

ipadでの使用としては上々
一気に読む論文が増えて管理が煩雑になったので、ipad airを買って論文管理することに。昨年からbasic使っていたのでとりあえずこちらのアプリをダウンロードした。とりあえずipadで見て、書き込みするならこれで良いが、PC版で添付したPDFが編集制限されていたら、ipadでも編集できないので気をつけましょう。
それと、iOS版にratingできるようにしてほしい。今人的には読んだかどうかこれで判断できる。

Time to update the app
The app doesn’t have necessary features that the desktop version does. For example, it is missing the Tags feature which at this stage of computer technology is a common way to organize items. Please at the very least build in the tags feature in the iPad/iPhone version of the app.
Useless
Only usage of the app is to view your references. Further the app has no use at all. I’d at least like to do my title/abstract screening on the go but can’t even add tags oder delete duplicates.

Overall can get synced references, but not very easy to use. Search is clunky.

Cannot open the app since version 3.5
I like EndNote on Mac. EndNote for iPad is not too bad, until the last upgrade. Since version 3.5, I can’t open the app on my iPad any more. How to fix the problem?
WORST APP CREATED! F- Extreme failure.
Scam danger. Many glitches, crashes and bugs. Worked great in 1990’s but EndNote is now an attempt to grab a pool of money from academia ivory towers. Zero attempt at anything other than collecting money. It will never work - hours on hold with libraries and tech support. EndNote is a scam - they steal credit card for a service that will not work. Avoid at all costs! Does not work as advertised! The developers of the app should be put in jail.

Cite whilst you write function
This app is missing the main point of it, being able to cite while you write…. There are other referencing apps that allow this on iPad… why doesn’t this?
