About

Know your loved one is up and about each morning — without daily check-in calls. In the days before smartphones, neighbors had a simple arrangement. Every morning a widow raised her window shade. Her neighbor did the same — a quiet signal that said "I'm up. I'm okay." Most of us don't have that neighbor anymore. eNeighbor™ brings that back — quiet peace of mind for families with an aging parent or older adult living alone. HOW IT WORKS Your loved one sets up eNeighbor and goes about their morning as usual. The app notices when they use their phone — something most of us do within minutes of waking up. If the routine is disrupted by mid-morning, the family member they've chosen receives a gentle nudge to check in. On a normal day, no one is bothered. It's a quiet wellness check that runs in the background, with no daily check-in calls to remember. THEIR CHOICE Nothing about their morning is shared until your loved one turns eNeighbor on — and then only with the person they chose. They can turn it off anytime. It's reassurance they've agreed to — not someone looking over their shoulder. WHO IT'S FOR eNeighbor is for two people: an aging parent, senior, or older adult who lives alone or spends time on their own during the day, and a family member or friend who wants quiet reassurance without intruding. If you worry about an elderly parent living alone but don't want to call every morning or ask them to wear a device, this is for you. WHAT IT'S NOT • No daily check-in calls or texts to remember • No wearable devices to charge or strap on • No location is shown to family — eNeighbor never displays where the device is • No tracking of which apps are used PRIVACY Activity status is shared only with the family contact chosen during setup. Account deletion is available in the app and at https://eneighbor.app/delete-account. Full details: https://eneighbor.app/privacy. IMPORTANT eNeighbor is a general wellness product, not a medical alert or emergency response system. In an emergency, contact your local emergency services. Please see our Terms of Service at https://eneighbor.app/terms for important safety information. QUESTIONS Email support@curlewlabs.com or visit https://eneighbor.app/support.

What's New in eNeighbor

1.2.0

July 9, 2026

Your home-screen check-in widget can now show your neighbor, too. After you check in for the day, it shows that someone you look out for is up and about — a quiet reassurance, at a glance, with nothing to open or keep up with. This release also includes small fixes and refinements throughout.
