Fun!

i like that we can change things in it like Bore. Combustion and but i have an question. why the cylinders are only limited to 12? because i was wondering how many cylinders would we need to reach mach 3 so i have to increse the cylinders to more than 12 and also what if this app also letted us also test aviation propulsion systems?

Response from developer

Thanks! 12 is where real car engines stop, but V16s exist, so a 16-cylinder option is on my list. Also the limitation is that it runs real simulation on the background, so only the newer generation phones/iPads could handle 16 cylinders. For Mach 3, though, more cylinders won't help. Propellers stop working well long before the speed of sound and the fastest piston engine planes reach about 880 km/h. Mach 3 needs a jet engine, like the SR-71's. Jet engines are something I'd like to add to the lab one day.

Having a bit of trouble

I have it three stars because it’s okay, but it’s a bit hard to change the engine out, so I’m just suggesting that you guys try making engine swapping a bit simpler, at least for people who don’t have the availability of the bottom access bar with the garage thing

Response from developer

Thanks for your feedback! Version 1.5 fixes the issue that hid the bottom navigation bar on pre-iOS 26 versions. I’ve also made engine swapping easier, you can tap the engine name on the Drive screen to choose another engine directly. Feel free to update and let me know how it works for you!
