Enso is a private social app for the people who actually matter — family and real friends. No likes to count, no followers to grow, no algorithm deciding what you see.
NO ONE CAN FIND YOU HERE
There is no search bar. No suggested friends. No "people you may know." We didn't forget to build these — we refused to.
There are exactly three ways to connect:
• Meet in person — scan each other's code. It expires in two minutes.
• Send an invite — for the people who already matter but aren't in the room. You send the link deliberately, they request, you accept. Invites are limited, so nobody can mass-add strangers.
• Ask by username — no search; you type the exact username and they decide. Receiving these is off by default.
No cold DMs. No profile stalking. If they're not in your life, they're not in your Enso.
POST LIKE A PERSON, NOT A BRAND
Three kinds of posts, three lifespans — you choose how long things live.
• Stories last 24 hours. The everyday stuff.
• Moments last 7 days, then quietly leave everyone else's view. They stay on your own profile, like a journal nobody else reads.
• Memories stay forever, visible to your connections. Over the years they become a memory lane of your actual life.
No like counts under any of it. Reactions come from people, with names and faces — your sister loved it, your best friend laughed. Not a number. Never a score.
CONVERSATIONS THAT BELONG TO YOU
Every chat is end-to-end encrypted. Messages are scrambled on your phone and unscrambled on theirs. Nobody in between can read them — not us, not ever. We couldn't hand them over if we wanted to. All we hold is ciphertext.
New phone? Your encrypted backup unlocks with your PIN. Forgot it? Your recovery phrase gets you back in. Lose both and your history is gone — even we can't bring it back. That's the price of a lock nobody else has a key to.
SIGN IN WITHOUT THE WAIT
Use a passkey — Face ID, a fingerprint, or your device PIN — instead of waiting for a text. Your passkey stays on your device and in your password manager. It can't be phished or intercepted.
WHAT'S MISSING, ON PURPOSE
We deleted the worst parts of social media before writing a single line of code.
• No follower counts — you are not a number
• No like counts — post what you like, not what performs
• No algorithm — your feed is your people, in order
• No infinite scroll — the feed ends, go live your life
• No search — you can't be found, you can only be let in
• No influencers, no trending page, no ads
Everything that turns people into metrics and moments into performances — gone. What's left is you and the people who actually know you.
Enso is 18+. Your life, not a scoreboard.
