Nearly all search filters have been removed, the app was bad before and now it’s just atrocious
Outstanding app and service
I have had a great experience using this app and saved lots of money. I have also had a really positive experience with their customer service staff as well. They have some exceptional promotions. Definitely recommend.
Constant issues
No way to activate membership until you log out first, once activated it doesn't even appear active in the account, absolute rubbish app

Not a good App
I am having a lot of trouble trying to get the App on my iPhone but I got it on my iPad. I can’t find how to get it on my phone. It’s really annoying because I am going for dinner with my family and need it to be able to use the discount. I don’t want to take my cumbersome iPad with me.
My husband isn’t happy with the new app either and says it’s not as easy to use as the old app. I’ve had the app previously and haven’t had any problems in the past.
The app really needs attention to sort out problems for users.

I bought my membership from my chosen charity as I wanted to support them but pleasantly surprised by the value of the travel savings. Have used several times for this and have saved thousands of dollars on a holiday and overnight stays. The gift card discounts have been great for Christmas shopping too. Easily made back the cost of the membership multiple times over.

Very impractical and Confusing. I wish you could clearly see all the relevant options in a straightforward way and be able to customise it.

Availability of offers declined massively
I have used the Entertainment Book for over 10 years. The availability of offers has really declined, especially in Victoria/Melbourne, seems like all the restaurants got out in Covid and when the EB ownership changed hands. Be nice to see the entertainment book team try and get more restaurants onboard. I’m travelling Australia next year and there seems to be more availability and better choices interstate so I will keep membership for that but once back in Melbourne I’ll just use EatClub and first table.

The App seems to be working well
I was skeptical of the app because of the previous reviews, but decided to become a member anyway, because of the great discounts. Turns out the technical team seems to have come a long way in fixing the issues with the app, which has been working perfectly for my previous bookings. Could still improve the navigability with the entertainment travel functions and make a more user friendly search menu. Other than that it is just great.

Biggest waste of money ever. Just give money to your chosen charity. There’s basically nothing useful within the coupons.

This app has been around for a long time in many incarnations. This product continues to be a great deal and worth the money.
App is terrible
I thought it was just me but the app is awful. It’s slow, it doesn’t search properly. Do the designers actually go in and try using it like the user does? I have been a long time Entertainment book user, back in the day when it was a physical book, then it changed to an app and worked fine but in the last year or so, it is just awful. I won’t be signing up again. Developers: Do some decent beta testing on this app and you’ll see how bad it is. NB: I bought a two year multi city.

Poor app
Without a doubt the worst search function. Will routinely point to restaurants in Bali even when I am looking for restaurants in Perth. Cannot search on basis of cuisine unless you select fine dining.
Useless app, false advertising, can’t even use the website either
Bought the $120 1 year membership today purely to access Sea World discounts for tomorrow. Then went straight to the page in the app and the link did not work. Finally found out from searching the page that I had to book on the desktop… but when I logged into the desktop site it was not working “under maintenance”. Bring back the actual book. The app is a rip off. At least the book actually worked to use!!!
