Exactly as promised

This app works exactly as promised. It’s basic and simple, but it’s perfect for what I need, especially on my longer bikepacking rides. I connected it to my Ride With GPS account, so, as long as I’ve planned an approximate route ahead of time, it makes it very easy to set my weather expectations for the day and next few hours—whether to have my poncho at the ready, when I should think about reapplying sunscreen, how much headwind or tailwind to expect, etc.

Genial

Es simplemente genial, sencilla de usar, y buenísima para saber el tiempo y sobretodo para saber la dirección del viento en tus salidas con la bicicleta. Yo siempre que vaya hacer una ruta miro antes la dirección, para tener siempre el viento a favor a la vuelta. Me encanta esta aplicación! Es muy recomendable!!

Certainement utile en vélo de route

Ce qui m’a donné l’envie de tester est la possibilité de l’appairer avec l’excellent GPS Hammerhead, tout marche parfaitement; pour ma part en Gravel l’utilité est moindre mais c’est une appréciation personnelle.

Consistently incorrect temps

I’ve yet to see accurate temperature forecasts. Supposedly taking data from Apple Weather, so why don’t the values match?

Inzwischen mit DAUERHAFTEN und nicht geringen Kosten verbunden. Nicht mal ein Einmalkauf wird angeboten. Da ist Komoot Premium dann der bessere Weg

Change starting point of route?

This is brilliant for day rides. Living in Scotland I use it all the time.

For Bikepacking however, the ability to shorten the route (ie delete what you’ve ridden), and forecast the remaining would be awesome.

Example: I’m writing this from a café in Corfu where I’m hiding from a thunderstorm. I’m wild camping so I have no daily schedule, just my entire route on my Garmin and on my phone.
The ability to forecast the remainder of my route from my current location would be a gamechanger.
I’m guessing however that that kind of feature would need to be via a GPS app rather than this one?

Greatest App Ever!

Thanks to The Ride Collective for putting this app on my radar. I can't count how many times I've tried to cobble together this kind of ride forecast from other "point" weather forecast data sources...

Just an awesome cycling support app

Love this product complete forecast for ride planning and forecasting critical weather indicators like winds, temperatures, rain etc. can’t plan a ride without it.

Indispensable!

I live in the northern Rockies and bike year-round. The weather is tough to predict in the mountains, but technology has made the weather-guessers so much better. The proper application of this technology through Rpic Ride has helped me properly chose my routes and gear and has lead to far more enjoyable rides. This app helps me live by the old adage, “There is no such thing as bad weather, just bad clothing.”

I will ride in the wind, but I prefer to let it blow me home. Again, big win here with forecasting direction and magnitude at the precise place and time I will be on my route.

Sure, I could pack the kitchen sink every time I ride (and occasionally have to), but this app helps me avoid overpacking. I worry less and ride more.
