What's New in EPILEPSY RESEARCH KIT MirrorHR

V 15.1

June 27, 2024

Welcome to Version 15 of MirrorHR - Epilepsy Research Kit! We're thrilled to introduce our full remote monitoring system, enhancing autonomy for our kids and loved ones. In addition to logging main events, tracking medications, and therapies, you can now receive remote notifications for all these activities, including alarms and BPMs, even from miles away. This feature requires the patient to wear an Apple Watch paired with an iPhone running MirrorHR, while you, as a caregiver, only need MirrorHR on your iPhone. As always, MirrorHR helps you gain clearer insights into epilepsy management, fostering better discussions with your healthcare provider. Your invaluable feedback has led to performance enhancements and bug fixes, making the app smoother than ever. Love MirrorHR? Your reviews and feedback are crucial for refining the experience. Feel free to drop a review or email us your suggestions. Find the links under the Settings section. Thank you for your continued support!

The bugs report:

Difficult setup. Many settings cannot be undone.
If write permission is not allowed, only read it shows as denied and does not work
If write permission is allowed, then it writes data too much to Apple Health, which messes up Apple Health
The alarm test fails with set the phone into silent mode and try. So, I did silent, sleep and do-not-disturb modes, same result
Set the heart rate to something that will trigger, yes it did but no alarm sounded.
Alarm test sound works when first setting it up.
Alert when iWatch battery is 20%, that’s not high enough.
Adding an event is difficult.
No “Aura” or evidently similar seizure. Dizziness is not the same.
