Don’t bother

They advertise fall detection, but you have to pay a bunch of money to get that.

Thanks for the feedback. EquiNex does offer a free plan that includes live ride tracking and ride sharing. Fall detection is included in our paid plans, which start at about $5/month ($59.99/year on the annual plan). We developed fall detection specifically for riders because standard fall-detection systems struggle to distinguish between normal riding activity and an actual fall. For riders who spend time on the trail alone, we believe it's a worthwhile safety feature at a price point that's accessible to most horse owners. We appreciate you giving EquiNex a try.

Love, but some suggestions

I really like this app, but there are a few suggestions. For one, I would add a gallery option. That way I can keep a collection of photos and videos from rides in, etc. You should be able to caption and put descriptions. My only other thing is, I understand that having multiple horses should cost money, however, I do think that the AI image analyzer should be unlimited. Of course, I understand if you cannot do that, but it would probably get your cons users.

Thank you for the review — really glad you're enjoying EquiNex! A ride gallery with captions is actually something we've been working toward, so your timing is perfect. You can already filter and sort your rides by date, horse, and distance — but I like the idea of being able to browse all your photos in one place and tap into the ride from there. Would tags or keywords for rides be useful to you? That way you could search by trail name, event, or anything you want to remember. On the AI image analyzer: each analysis has a real per-image cost on our end, so fully unlimited isn't in the cards right now, but I'll look at whether we can be more generous with the current limits. Very disappointing app.

Tracking a ride barely works, and the app feels confusing. When I try to track my ride, it does not behave reliably. Sharing with someone else is even worse, it hangs, freezes, and feels slow. There are a lot of features on the app that are not implemented properly and comes across like it was hastily slapped together.

Revolutionary

I came for the ride tracking, stayed for the barn / horse management system. SO much more convenient than all the notes, spreadsheets, and whiteboards and calendars I was using before

Love this App!!

I absolutely love using Equinex AI for managing my horses. It’s made everything so much easier and more organized. I can track deworming schedules, get reminders when it’s time, and keep detailed records all in one place, which gives me real peace of mind.

One of my favorite features is being able to use the AI since it already knows my horse to get insight into potential issues before I even call the vet. It’s incredibly helpful for deciding next steps and feeling more informed.

Trail Ride Tracker!

I am an avid trail rider. It’s my life. This app is a game changer for me. I have hundreds of miles of trails from my property. It’s so nice to be able to not only track my route, but I can use virtual flags for trails that are difficult to navigate direction. I’m able to add photos as well and at the end I get a complete analysis of my ride including elevation changes and fitness tracking for my horse! Highly recommend!

Must-Have App for Horse Owners

Equinex AI is a must-have app for horse owners, barn managers, and trainers. The setup is quick and easy, and it does an amazing job of keeping everything organized in one place.

I especially like how it helps track important care tasks like farrier visits, vet appointments, feeding schedules, and supplements. Being able to share feeding schedules with a worker or caretaker is a huge help for managing a barn and making sure nothing gets missed.

The AI features are also very impressive. It helps with riding insights and analyzing your horse, which can be a great tool for improving training and understanding your horse better.

Another feature I really enjoy is the ability to track trail rides and add photos to specific locations along the ride. It’s a great way to document rides and remember special moments.

Overall, this app replaces several other apps we used before. Everything is finally in one place, and it makes managing horses much easier. We love it and highly recommend it to anyone involved in horse care or training.

Innovative and Thorough!

This app has everything we need to manage our small family barn. The planning features for food, medicine, the farrier, and other routine care items are easy to use and share with others.

But where this app really shines with its innovative use of AI… The Ride Analysis tool does an awesome job of pointing things out I may not have seen, and the horse-specific AI Assistant offers amazing insights!!

I recommend trying it out to see how easy it is to add a little information and start automating some of the work involved in equestrian caretaking. After you’ve added the basics, try the AI Assistant - it’s incredible to see the power of this technology applied to our horses!!!
