The resources side is something we care about a lot. Blocking surely buys you time but understanding why it’s happening is what makes it stick. Also, thank you for reporting those bugs as that kind of feedback is how the app gets better. More good things are coming soon.

Workarounds

Opera is blocking in our own testing. The free blocker covers Safari. To block every browser, including Opera GX, make sure Deep Block is turned on in the app. On privacy, the only way to catch every possible workaround would be to route traffic through our servers, which would mean we could see everything users browse. We are not willing to do that. A lot of people use Escape specifically because everything stays on device, with no account and nothing tied to them. If something is still getting through, please email us at support@escapethegrip.com with the steps you took. We will gladly look into it and help you get it working properly. Thanks for testing it.
