About

In 3D space, none of the channels are connected. Turn the view, though, and two distant channels land exactly on top of one another. In ESCHER FALLS, that is the moment they count as joined, and the water runs. Depth is never considered at all. This is M.C. Escher's "Waterfall" — that uneasy feeling of water falling and somehow arriving back where it started — made into something you can play with your thumb. ■ How it plays Turn the compass in 90° steps; move the elevation through three stops — low, high, top-down. That is nine combinations, and the water runs through exactly **one** of them. When you think it is joined, release the water. You may release at any time. Where it is not joined, the water spills out of the gap. The button never goes grey to tell you that you are wrong. Where it spills is the only thing that will tell you where the break is. ■ 41 stages · Main, Part One (12) — compass only at first, then elevation, then top-down · Main, Part Two (9) — levers arrive, and the castle itself moves. The search becomes two axes: where you look from, and what state it is in · Extras I (20) — reversal. The water climbs the fall. Dry wells appear in the second half. They are catches you must **not** reach, so you look for a view that keeps things apart rather than one that joins them Finish Part One of the main story and the first Extra, "The Upward Fall", is free to play. The rest open with an in-app purchase (which removes the ads as well). Clear the whole main story and a second pass opens, with moves and time tightened. ■ What is and is not in here · Ads are video only. **Watching is always your choice.** Nothing appears on its own · **The Extras you pay for carry no ads at all** · No account, no sign-up · Records are kept on your device and nowhere else Times are kept per stage, with a personal best and a running total. There is a rank, too — but it is never compared against anyone else.
