You can exit out of the app but it will come on by itself — if you have the volume up and you’re sitting in a meeting — not good. Also the audio will often cut off.

The broadcast keeps dropping on their end making it impossible to listen through.

Great app. Love to listen all day long while working remote.
Need to fix buffering/freezing
App is constantly buffering/reseting. Many times show segments are very late to post. Been experiencing this for the past couple years on different devices.
Great for out of town fans
I moved to AZ in 2015 after 50+ yrs in Chicago burbs. ESPN1000 App is a great way to stay connected & current on the Chicago sports scene. Plus, the presentation is much more entertaining than anything AZ sports radio has to offer.

Format
The hours are playing in reverse. They need to be flipped so they play in order, otherwise you have to manually move to the next hour.
Love it, but has some flaws
Seems like after I listen for a while, turn it off and then start it again, it won’t work until I force quit it on my iPhone 15 and restart it.

App Starts Randomly
ESPN CHICAGO app has been automatically playing at random times of the day.Fix this bug!!! Thanks.
App starts whenever
Love the app and ability to listen wherever, whenever. However when I close it, it reopens and plays at random times. Need to fix bug, I force close the app and it turns on randomly whenever.
Randomly turns on
This has been going on for months now just having the app installed (not running it in the background!) causes the app to turn on randomly. I’m uninstalling until this is fixed it’s embarrassing.
App randomly starts playing
Idk if I am going crazy but the live radio will randomly start playing when my phone is locked and not being used. No watch on or anything to accidentally toggle it. Usually turns on in the middle of the night when asleep and phone is on the charger. I also force close the app and it doesn’t matter. It’s completely random no rhyme or reason to when it’ll turn on. Other than that I love the app honestly
