ETHANOL is a drink journal built like a lab instrument: a sleek HUD that logs what gets poured, reads the pace of the night, and explains the chemistry inside the glass, molecule by molecule.
[ SESSION ]
The first drink logged starts a session. The HUD tracks the count, the elapsed clock, and a live pace read, STEADY or HEAVY, counted from what has actually been finished and judged against personal history once a few sessions are on record. A live scope traces ethanol and congeners as each drink is finished, zooming in steps as the night goes on. When a night out runs hot, the HUD says so plainly and puts a ride-home control on the session screen. GET HOME SAFELY is always in the Vault. Counts and trends only. ETHANOL never estimates blood alcohol and is not a measure of impairment.
[ LAB ]
206 cocktail formulations, free: specs, ratios, techniques, and the chemistry that makes each one work. A bar inventory that answers the only question that matters at 7 PM: what can be made with what is on the shelf. Favorites, custom builds, and a featured formulation every day.
[ COMPENDIUM ]
Every drink carries signature molecules: the terpenes in gin, the diacetyl in a buttery chardonnay, the methyl anthranilate in tequila. Logging drinks unlocks their compounds in a growing molecular compendium. Drinking becomes a chemistry set. Reading it becomes a habit.
[ MENU SCAN ]
Point the camera at any drink menu. AI reads it and identifies each drink, and every item opens to its signature molecules, strength, and congener load, all before the first order. 5 menu scans free as a one-time trial. Premium includes 60 menu scans and 50 bottle scans each calendar month, and one-time scan packs are available without a subscription.
[ MAP ]
Venues pin to the map, with the night's route drawn between stops. Home, party, or venue: the picker learns the usual spots and suggests the likeliest venues for the night and hour.
[ PREMIUM ]
Premium adds 60 menu scans and 50 bottle scans each calendar month, bottle-label scanning, the AI Advisor, and deep insights.
Subscription: ETHANOL Premium, $4.99 per month or $39.99 per year. Auto-renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in Settings. One-time scan packs are available without a subscription.
