The parents and school authorities will receive notifications in the form of SMS or iOS push notifications about the school bus locations. The first notification of the day will be received 10 minutes prior to the bus arriving at the scheduled stop. The next notification comes just after the student boards the bus and swipes their RFID cards in the card readers installed in the bus. Parents and school authorities can then track the route of the school bus on a map. Students have to swipe their RFID cards even while getting down from the bus and then, the parents and school authorities get notified once again. The same process is repeated in the evening when the students travel back to their homes. Apart from school bus locations, parents and school authorities also get notified in case of over speeding or unscheduled bus stops.
