Fantastic game
I am roughly halfway through the game (I’m on level 10 and a quick google says there’s about 20 levels). There are just so many things that are amazing about this game. First, I like that you have to build up momentum to get a proper jump. It varies it from other platformers.
Second, the visual style is immaculate and always has me gobsmacked by the amount of effort put into a simple mobile game.
Third, Eugene himself is super cute and I just wanna squish him >:0
Fourth, the level design is fantastic. The difficulty curve is great, despite the game being more on the difficult side.
Lastly, ads are few and far between, only showing up if you fail enough times. And if they still annoy you, the game doesn’t need wi-fi.
I think the game is basically perfect, my only suggestion for improvement is mabye a sequel? With another playable character mabye, some new game mechanics (and new levels to come with).
And, correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t think the game features boss fights. (As I said I haven’t beaten the game yet). So that would be a fantastic addition to a potential sequel.
