Best free private menstrual tracker! Just missing one thing for perfection.

I wish there was a way to add more categories of things related to the hormone cycles that I frequently track, such as back pain and sense of smell. But other than that I have no complaints!

Almost Perfect

I love the app’s privacy and information availability on it. However I feel as if it’s missing some symptoms people may experience, such as back pain, and leg cramps, ect. I also wish it sent a notification a week before and a few days before warning me of my period like other apps do. I did submit a suggestion for that on their site but I hadn’t mentioned the back pain one so I decided to make a review.

Would love if…

Would love the app even more if it were possible to also track the type of pad size/absorbtion being used. A pad with wings is not nor is it the same as an overnight maxi pad with wings, and for me I know that distinction matters. Cause if I need to use x3+ long ultra thin pads with wings one day and x3+ maxi pad overnight wings the next day, and all I can click is “heavy flow” that’s a bit unhelpful, as those are two very different types of heavy flow days.

Would it be possible to be able to log pad type/absorbency? Like after you click it, then get to click which type just like how they have all options on the box with a picture of which product you’re purchasing? And I’m sure tampon users would also appreciate this feature.

That’s all! And also thank you for fixing the cycle glitch, it’s awesome now at predicting again!

Please for the love of moon cycles everywhere, please fix this bug.

Could you please fix the glitch that doesn’t recalculate cycle length?

The cycle tracker is way off. And even though the last four cycles have begun at the same interval of time, it’s still off by a week due to a fluke cycle that began early. And every cycle before the fluke also began at the same interval of time as the cycles after the fluke. I thought that after a few cycles it would recalculate to accurately reflect what the new data is showing, but it hasn’t and I don’t think it ever will.

I really like this app, but the fact that it’s an entire week off makes it unusable for me. If I can’t track my cycle accurately, then why would I continue to use this app? Please for the love of moon cycles everywhere, please fix this bug. I don’t want to have to find yet another app after fleeing from clue.

Thank you!

Not impressed

To compare period tracking apps, I’m also using drip. and the iPhones open health tracker, and this one is the most inaccurate, usually even “ possible” days are 1 or 2 days out while the other ones are pretty much spot on.
Another a couple of negatives: no dark mode, even though I’ve submitted the idea to the company, it got harshly shut down! The app is very white and bright, and it’s not pleasant to use when I got the entire phone and all other apps in dark mode, the contrast can be intense. And the interface of the app is so freaking ugly, all those disturbing facial “emojis” and pained illustrations just give it a gross feeling, it’s a really ugly style!! Not a fan, so this one is going…..

Feels safe and PRIVATE!

This app makes me feel safe- the language, information and privacy features are second to none. Feels like it was made for women, not for data collection.

Great app!

Easy user interface, love the principle and no ads! A couple of features would make this app even better. 1) cycle days appearing on the calendar page. (For example the cycle day number smaller to the side of the calendar date) 2) predicted phase of cycle appearing on the calendar, such as a different colour on days of ovulation or luteal phase etc. 3) an option to track medication not just contraception. Features like this would allow me to swap from the other three cycle tracking/medication apps I use to just one!

Completely Private + Free

There are no “premium” features hidden behind a paywall. Additionally, the app can be pin locked. The best part however is how the entire app can delete stored data by request or frequently delete data. There are a ton of features that support privacy and are very transparent.

best no-sharing data period tracking app i have used so far

none of the issues mentioned in previous reviews are still a problem!

Missing Important Features

I want to love this app—I really do. I think the modern market has gotten far too comfortable stealing and selling user data. I love that Euki focuses explicitly on not doing that.

But functionally this app is just not helpful. It takes months of data input from the user just to get any sort of predictive ability and years for predictions to actually be accurate. This app has no way to export data, so if you ever get a new device you have to start completely over, which is wildly inconvenient.

I won’t pretend to know anything about app development, but I’ve seen other apps use an export/import system that involves the user sending their data to their own email, and then importing the data on the second device from said email. That could be a potential solution here, if the goal is to avoid a cloud storage or account-based system?

What’s more, I (and presumably many others) use tracking apps like this to avoid the hassle of manual monitoring. Euki does not have the ability to enable notifications to alert you when you’re about to start menstruating, ovulating, etc. meaning if you don’t manually check the app, you’ll still end up being surprised. This app, at this point, is more or less a glorified pen-and-paper tracking log that takes storage on a device.

I’ve used Euki over the past two years and I would absolutely be willing to try it again in the future should these features be considered, as I do truly appreciate the privacy it stands for, but at this point I simply cannot say it fulfills my needs.

Great for what it’s for!

This app is great for what it’s intended for - tracking your period. I started using it because it was suggested as an app that doesn’t store or share the user’s data. My only issue is when I open the calendar, half the days don’t show up. It seems like a bug since I updated to the new iOS a couple updates ago. Not a huge issue but a little annoying. Hopefully it can be fixed in an upcoming app update.

Love!

Absolutely love this app! Switched over from clue a while back for privacy reasons and this app does the best at estimating my cycle correctly and has so many log functions!

Good app!

I’ve had this app for 3 weeks and so far I’ve enjoyed using it. The only thing I would like to add to this app is the ability to track temperature.

Terrible

No option to track Basel body temperature. reduces women’s bodies to androgynous terminology ie - “tender chest” as a symptom. Deleted immediately.

Great app

Easy to use and I like the privacy/security. It would be nice if the phases you’re in could pop up when you open your app. I know some other apps have little messages that say things like “you’re currently in your luteal phase, you might be feeling x y z today”

Love the app

Iove the app but I would suggest more symptoms To be available to choose from

It’s good but has a minor set back

I love this app. I got it 2 days ago and it’s already better than Flo(so my almost 2 year relationship with it is over). However the one thing that it does have in common with flow, is that it doesn’t allow you to add multiple flow options. Like it’s only spotting, light, medium, or heavy, not light and medium, or medium and spotting. I feel like if they did that, it would make it that much better. Everything else is fine tho. 9.5/10(10/10 if they add this update because I think it’s necessary, since our flows aren’t always the same even if it’s all in one day!)

Functional and private

With the new iOS update make sure you go to settings > Siri > Apps > Euki and turn off “Learn from this app”. From what I understand this feature allows Apple to scrape data from the app regardless of the app’s built in privacy. If you are using this app, just make sure you keep up with what’s in each iOS update
Love this app so far! The privacy features are great and I love the UI

Still Can’t Transfer Between Devices

Hopped to a new device and the only thing that didn’t transfer was alllllllll of my Euki data. The outdated app version ported, just not the data. 3 years of notes down the drain, such is life.
In a beautiful world, I would keep one phone model forever and never need to switch to a new device. This isn’t that world, however.

LOVE IT!!!.. but!

Im not one to leave reviews but i truly love this app for all that it is, i love the pin feature and everything!! I WILL SAY i do wish they had an ovulation feature in their calendar (like clue but obv better) just helpful to know! Other than that no issues i love it

Love this app just a couple tweaks would be great!

I love how Euki has none of the premium content that you can’t access unless you pay and that there’s so much educational and helpful information. I would only want more options for emotions and body and maybe a couple more categories to track. I also really appreciate the privacy policies, I think it’s really important for people wanting to track what’s happening in their bodies without being worried about their information being shared. One more thing would be that everything is gender neutral and inclusive, it’s super important and a lot of similar apps are very feminine and not inclusive. Thank you so much!
