Constant connection issues recently
Generally useful app that stopped working about two weeks ago as it won’t connect (client version check fails). Suffers from the common CCP issue of releasing some sort of feature, moving on to the next shiny thing and never looking at the feature again. Would be rated higher if/when connection issues are resolved
Update: still broken and to a casual observer, development on it seems to have stopped. This sort of thing is not surprising from CCP though. Long history of releasing something potentially really cool then dumping it and moving into the next big thing

Adequate when working.
I used it to buy and sell PLEX, read and respond to in game email, adjust skill training. I have an alt and can switch between…..when the app is functioning. It’s down for weeks at a time, no updates/communication regarding app status. You can send bug reports from the app when down, but again, no communication if received, if app is being worked on etc. I’ve stopped buying PLEX all together because the best prices in game are in a system called Jita. I live 25 jumps from there in game so I just stopped buying all together. Before downloading do further research, see how often it’s down, and how long it’s down.

Fail to Launch
The app apparently hasn’t been updated in a while but doesn’t mean it’s always incompatible or broken - well in this case it was.
The app downloads and starts but fails to load past 90% before a pop up giving you an error about the client appears and lets you either retry or quit.
There’s a lot of potential here with the game they already have of 20+ years and the features they already incorporated along with the fact a new extension to the EVE universe is coming as an FPS. Hopefully will see this be revived soon.

Nice app… when it works
The app is really nice on the rare occasions it works, allowing you to see and adjust skill queues. It’ll also display market transactions for those with a casual interest in station trading, though there are better tools for dedicated traders.
Unfortunately, it rarely works for longer than a few weeks or a month, before you’ll begin to experience client error messages. Once those start, the app will refuse to load and not even deleting/re-installing will fix it. Support and responses in the Eve forums is extremely slow (and nonexistent at times), and can often take days or weeks before issues are even acknowledged.
Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this app until there’s a more dedicated support presence.

Check Client Failure
App will no longer connect to the Eve servers. It’s a great app to use when it’s working properly, but the newest batches of updates to Eve Online seems to have made the app incompatible with the server side stuff. If CCP would get a new update pushed out, the app would be great to use again, but so far, I can’t tell if they’re continuing to support the development of Eve Portal. CCP, please get this fixed asap.
