I havenât had any issues with the Event Cinemas app in the past, I actually found it to be a simple and effective means to booking tickets in comparison to other apps.
However, this past month or so the app hasnât allowed me to log in. It displays an âInvalid Credentialsâ message, despite those credentials working on the website.
Overall a 3/5 due to the app previously being great but now not working.

Says incorrect password when itâs right
The app has logged me out of my account and despite logging in to the website without issue and even changing my password just in case, I cannot log in via the app it just says invalid credentials
Canât even login. Why bother
I can login to the web browser fine but on the app itâs âinvalid credentialsâ every time. Iâve uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Turned off wifi and VPN like most people say when trouble shooting. Nothing works. It should be this hard to LOG IN. whatâs the point of your app if it doesnât hold your account? No thanks.

Add option to login with email
Canât login without my username which is a random string of numbers assigned by Event. Add the option to login with email like on the website

Seems to be a ongoing problem logging in and resetting password. Such a sham as we used to visit often for kids movies
Keep accidentally pressing log out button
When viewing my profile user settings section, pressing the âXâ to close it, it is at the top left section; then right after this, the logout button is in the same spot on the previous page, making it very likely I press the log out button to go back to the home page. Please change the log out button to be way more difficult to press, so this doesnât happen again.

my mum bought tickets for me and my friend for scream 7 and they told us we couldnât go in because we didnât have an id but my mum bought the tickets for us i had my mums permission and there not my mum
Every booking fails
Absolutely useless app. Every time you try and book seats, you get to payment after reserving. The payment fails regardless of method and says to âcontact usâ. But the seats you had reserved are blocked out. I managed to block four rows of 3 seats after 4 attempts trying to transact. Going digital is fine - but when you canât do the basics of paying for a movie booking you know itâs rubbish! How hard is it to make an app that lets you book movie tickets and pay!

Issue with the Widgets
Whenever I add a widget to see the movie I have booked, it doesnât show anything. It stays blank and only shows the current time in the middle.
Nothing has been showing up ever since the widgets have been added. Can this be fixed please.

No Longer Useable
Was a great app initially, now I am âin offline modeâ and app doesnât work. Have tried uninstalling and reinstalling but still has the same issue
Time deficiency
I looked up the time for Sunday to watch the new conjuring movie, it told me that thereâs a movie on at 6:15pm, luckily I got there early at Tuggerah. Because I told me that the only times were available when 9pm gold class.
Good app
The app is great to browse movie options, book, buy food and drinks when in the GC lounge, etc. but itâs 2025 and we still have to open the app and have the brightness blind us just to access our cinebuzz card đđ when can we expect an âAdd to Apple Walletâ option for the membership barcode? So much easier to open apple wallet with a double click at the POS when ordering tickets in person. Iâd still be using the old keychain barcode card if mine hadnât faded past usability

Violate users right to taking screenshots
I bought 4 adults tickets for friends. We drove 2 cars. And the app doesnât allow taking screenshots of parking tickets?
How can I send the parking ticket for my friendâs car to exit the shopping mall?
How dare you disallowed users from taking screenshots on their own mobiles? This is not for DRM/copy right issue or sensitive information like banks account. Even bank apps allow users taking screenshots for transactions.
Apple should ban you from use that API.

I cannot log in using the app; reset my password and it wonât work on the app, but it does on the web.

Pretty much useless if you canât login to Cinebuzz. I can login via webpage but canât via the app. Why bother creating such an app?
