My grandson’s wedding in Ottawa Canada. I used a iPhone 15pro with Black Magic Camera App and a Hollyland wireless mic taped near speaker. Outside wedding so used a Solis Edge hotspot and inside the venue WIFI. All worked flawlessly with EventLive and being able to stream the outside ceremony then stop and stream speeches , hand held cake cutting dancing etc with no worries of copyright music and being able to start and stop streaming was a must and no issue. My daughter (grooms aunt) in Costa Rica watched the stream with no problem. I monitored occasionally on my iPhone 17 by looking at the EventLive stream

My New Favourite Software
This was my first time using EventLive for a clients funeral and it definitely won’t be my last. The ease of setting everything up was such a time saver, it wasn’t complicated at all. I love how you get to test everything out before you actually go live.
App worked great! Easy to use!
Event Live worked wonderful! We needed to livestream a funeral of my husbands Aunt in Canada for her sister and others in Missouri. I had difficulty with my tripod due to inexperience as I forgot to put my do not disturb on. Then trying to get it on and off the tripod was a challenge. But the app worked flawlessly!

Super easy to delegate
Live streaming is so easy now as you need a mobile camera device and you can delegate the stream to anyone to start the stream that can be done over 24 hrs Multiple people with the delegated link can stream (one at a time)
Celebration of Life for my wife
First time user and found it pretty easy to use. Streamed to AK, UK, BC and now the event is world wide for ten years. Instructions to use different cameras included. The 'test' run to a friend is great as you get to set up before the actual event which goes live at a predetermined time. 'Julia' will reply to you fast if you have questions. Good job.

We couldn’t find anyone to livestream our beloved’s funeral. Came across this and was absolutely blown away! Set up took 2 mins, so so so very easy to use - just point and shoot. The quality was excellent. Used an iPhone14 and it was perfect. 10/10 recommend.

Beach wedding & family in France
This live stream app is incredibly easy to use. That URL code that is sent to family and friends is very user-friendly. This app made a huge difference for his family that felt like they were present for destination wedding. They live in France and we live streamed from Key West, Florida. The best part is you can upload fun intro videos and then after the wedding add speeches or anything else important that you would want someone to watch again. If you don’t catch the live stream, someone can always play it back. We purchased it for a year and it will be well worth our money. We are beyond happy to recommend this app for any live event! 100 stars 🌟

Better than anything else
This platform was great to live stream our wedding from Australia to the UK. Nobody had to login and the live feed worked so well and with simplicity. Music was allowed and not blocked due to copyright like other platforms. This was worth the money to ensure nobody missed our special moment!

Not great
This was our first time using this and do not recommend. Video was horribly grainy, kept pausing (no one else had any internet issues) and just over all not satisfied. Will be looking for a different app to live stream.
Don’t trust it
I used this service for our wedding for guest who couldn’t make. Everything looked fine, no errors, could see who was online, hit “go live”. Apparently our audience never went live didn’t upload to the server and told us we were live. I have no record of our wedding because I trusted it and our video too. I will never get this back. Don’t use them

So easy!
I wanted to live stream my daughter‘s wedding for those family members and friends that could not attend. We tried for a few hours to get Facebook live to work, but it just wasn’t functioning the way we needed. We found EventLive and did a test run and it worked awesome and was easy. It did a great job. Everyone got to see her wedding and the download was easy. definitely would recommend EventLive.

This removed the hassle of setting things up. Get one link and share it. Folks can open it before, during and after and everything is handled well.
Memorial for my mum
The app was easy to use & worked well for the memorial of my 99 yr old mum. A great many extended family from all over Australia could watch the memorial live. Many more downloaded to watch later or send to other relatives & friends.
Being able to sign the condolence book online was also wonderful.
I’d recommend this any day to paying thousands to outsource it to a funeral parlour.

So user friendly!
I used Event Live to stream the Celebration of Life for my mother who died January 29, 2026. It was so easy to set up and use- which was critical given the fogginess in my brain created by grief and lack of sleep. This service allows for multiple tests of the service. Each video automatically downloads to your device when you finish. The live stream on the day of her service worked perfectly, allowing friends from all corners of the nation to be present with us. The feedback we received from our friends was that they were a bit nervous to try this since many are in their 80’s and not tech savvy… but all they had to do was click the link and that was it. They were able to watch without having to create any account or sign up for anything. The best part is now I have a permanent recording of her service.
