Top reviews

I find Everyday Faith very helpful as I navigate life. It tells me that Jesus is with me.

Excellent and really encouraging

Good to Start the Day

Helpful and accessible with the Word, reflection and prayer to begin the day with God.

Solid breadth and study

A super daily devotion that works in helpful themes and gives good Bible coverage.

Faithful friend

This app is well constructed, easy to use and a great Christian resources for your daily devotional routine. Well done Church of England.

Everyday Faith

Just what we needed, a straightforward daily app

Music too loud and distracting

The content of this app is great but unfortunately the background music is way too loud to the point where it’s very distracting. This makes it very hard to engage with the content. There should be an option to turn it down (eg a fader) or off, which would really help. It must be even more difficult for those who are hard of hearing. It’s a shame as the rest of the app is really good.

Inspiring

Daily scripture readings and short reflections, concluding with a prayer. You can either just read them, or listen to them (the speaking voices are clear, with gentle music in the background). A good way to deepen your spiritual life.

Loading screen bug

Normally good, now it gets stuck on the loading screen when you first open the app and won’t go further regardless of WiFi connectivity or anything.

Love the content, hate the Muzak

Good content but the voices of the presenters are difficult to hear because of the pointless Muzak background. I have hearing problems and find that voices overlaid with music completely prevents me hearing anything clearly. I no longer watch TV because I so often mishear so much that I loose track of the plot. In this day and age it should be possible to have a “Remove background music” option available.

Sunday

I am housebound and cannot concentrate long. I would appreciate very much that you did these pause for thoughts on Sundays. I’m sure I cannot be the only one who is housebound.

A must in today's world

Reflections each day; time to connect with God, reflect, pray & read Scripture.
If the world feels too busy, as counterintuitive as it might seem, download & read each morning, coffee (or tea) optional.
Thank you very much for this app.

Mornings!

To start the day reading these articles is a time for reflecting on the day ahead and remembering the way the Lord wants us to live. I love reading these inspirational quotes and explanations but to keep having the review process interrupt my reading is really off putting.

Daily inspiration

The messages truly inspire me and set me up for the day ahead. A great way to read Gods word each day.

My daily reminder

I love my daily connection with my faith, a reminder of greater higher power and what I believe in

Beyond Expectations

I can’t believe this app is free, so much love and care has been put into it. Each day is beautifully read by real people, it has themes each week, and reflections that have helped me connect to my faith. Thank you Church of England!!

Always Inspiring

There is something in every reading I can take to myself and learn about myself to take forward each day.

Five minutes of peace

This short meditation is so refreshing and often just the words I need for the day. Thank you for the encouragement it gives.

A Daily Antidote

Every day when I open my iPad I go first and foremost to Everyday Faith to give my faith a daily boost or tonic to start the day.
What I particularly like about it is that it is well presented, concise, informative and thought provoking.
Often a great antidote to the day.

Usage

The app is excellent but for 2 things. First, in ‘read’ mode, text at the bottom of the page is often obscured and you have to go into ‘play’ mode. Second, I am asked just about every day to rate the app in the middle of using it. It doesn’t help the reflection. I have given 5 stars every time.

Pestered to review

Great app but so frustrating that it interrupts the reflection and prayer EVERY DAY demanding a rating and review! Even when one has been given.
It is liked being tapped on the shoulder while praying, please reconsider this relentless need for feedback and remember what this app is actually for.

I’ve now received a response which is really helpful: Hello. The pop-ups asking you to review are beyond our control. To disable this, search for and tap on 'App Store' in the Settings app. Locate 'In-App Ratings & Reviews' and toggle the switch to the OFF position. I hope this helps. Kind regards, Joe." This has fixed the problem. Thanks to Joe for responding!!
