Poor use of notifications
This app continually sends notifications labeled as “breaking news” for non-important and out of market stories. Also, opting out of sports notifications does not stop notification of sports scores and stories. The app itself is also very glitchy, even on late model devices. As one of only a few local news stations in Lubbock, they should do better.

A lesson in how to not do ad supported apps.
There are literally so many ads going on in this app that it lags even my iPhone 13 Pro. I understand there are costs to offset but when you degrade the performance of your app for them you’re doing it wrong.

Some of their stories can be misleading because it says false information probably to get the attention of viewers overall I would not recommend getting this app
Remove ads
For the other star, can we please have an option to remove ads for a nominal subscription fee? Thanks

Love the Everything Lubbock app as it keeps me informed of Lubbick News. My son lives in Lubbock and works at Texas Tech. I like to keep up with what’s going on there where he lives.

I live in Middle Tennessee, but I'm from West Texas. Lubbock, TX will always be home. I enjoy seeing and knowing what is going on. My only complaint is I can't share some of the stories. This is not cool.

Works great!
Simple, fast and easy to navigate. The local reporters also tend to be less biased politically than the other network affiliates. More facts, less emotional buzzwords and party talking points.

Terrible app
Not user friendly at all. Tried to look at events, on mobile it keeps sliding back to comment.
The event I looked at listed no important details. So I used the comment box. I pressed "submit" and got a message the porthole is unavailable.

KAMC
The Tv station only works 50 percent of the time. During storms they want you to go to Facebook with most people I know don't use. So really why would you think this app would work. Because it doesn't. Good job KAMC.
Completely annoying now!
I used to like this app better than other locals but now popups and "up next" boxes I can't even read one article before I want to throw phone. Deleted
What happened?
Developers, did you even test the new version? Looks like they let the high school computer class redo the app. Deleting because it's worthless now.
Don't fix what is not broken
Completely new design gone completely wrong. Harder to use, harder to navigate. Confusing...
