EvGo Smart Charge

EvGo Smart Charge is the app for the EvGo network of electric vehicle charging stations in Romania. Find a free charger, start the session from your phone, follow it in real time and pay directly in the app. FIND STATIONS - Map of every station in the EvGo network, plus a list sorted by distance from you - Search by station name or address - Filter by connector type (Type 2, CCS2, CHAdeMO), by charging speed (slow up to 50 kW, fast between 51 and 100 kW, ultra-fast above 100 kW), by distance and by stations open now - Real-time status for each connector: free, in use or unavailable - Station details: address, opening hours, number and type of connectors, power, parking spots, nearby amenities and contact details - Directions to the station through the maps app on your phone - Save the stations you use often to your favourites CHARGE YOUR CAR - Start charging by scanning the QR code on the station or by picking the connector in the app - Follow the delivered energy, the elapsed time and the cost in real time - Stop the session from the app at any moment - Get a notification when the session ends RESERVE A CONNECTOR - Reserve a connector before you reach the station - See your active reservation and your past ones PAY - By bank card, through the NETOPIA payment processor - From your account credit, topped up by card, by SMS or with a voucher code - Review your credit history, everything added and everything spent - Request the invoice for any month by email YOUR ACCOUNT - Full charging history, with energy, duration and cost for every session - Billing details you can edit at any time - The app in Romanian or English - Delete your account and its data straight from the app PERMISSIONS The app uses your location to show nearby stations and sort them by distance, and the camera to scan the QR code on the station. Both are requested when you use them and can be declined. Charging requires an EvGo account, which you create for free in the app.
