Very poor
I use this app every day as it's now the only way to upgrade parcel mis-bands. It's a joke, the app WILL NOT stay open on the mis-band page in the background after switching back to the delivery app, cognito iq. Around 30% of my deliveries are mis-banded these days since the introduction of small packets, and I have around 185 parcels every day so I use it a lot.
Why isn't the mis-band upgrade system part of the delivery app, or would that make too much sense?
It also doesn't work when out of connectivity, so I spend ages just looking at a blue screen, waiting...
If I switch to my phones camera to take a picture of the label to do the upgrade later when in connectivity... it crashes cognito iq š¤¦āāļø
Not only that, but app updates are pushed out mid-round. Not evenings when the app is not in use, MID-ROUND. So that's another hindrance to my day from a thoroughly incompetent dev team.
Try harder.

App not up to the job
I use this app every time I go out on a round and to say it was useless would be an understatement, everything about it is wrong. I used to be an app developer and know good apps vs bad apps, why didnāt Evri ask anyone what they thought before releasing it? I could write a book on how it could be improved but thatās the job of the Evri management

Not great
Could be less than 2 stars. This just concerns the app nothing about pay, number of parcels etc. its very temperamental, doesnāt work in low signal areas, cannot add your pronouns to your profile, cannot counter comment on awful untrue customer feedback, metrics donāt take into account youāre having to deliver tonnes of non manifest parcels outside etaās to be efficient and regularly has major lock ups which even hard resets donāt clear. That said is good to band change parcels, see what you made and parcel volumes. Just donāt read customer comments as they are extremely anonymous and harassing!

Honestly itās not as bad as people say it is, if your slow with this job you arenāt going to be happy. But when you actually learn everything and how to be as fast as you can doing one round thatās when the money actually talks. I have one route that I do everyday and it takes me 2-3 hours depending on volume. When itās about 140 parcels itāll take me 3 hours and that already gives me Ā£25 an hour. Say if it took me longer than that, thatās when Iāll be questioning am I being paid enough. This job isnāt for everyone honestly but if your quick at it its definitely for you.

Terrible application and even worse financial system
This is by far the worst experience Iāve ever had. Their payment system is extremely slow and holds your hard-earned money for weeks without any clear reason. On top of that, their app freezes constantly, and as soon as you decide to leave or stop providing services, they instantly restrict your account and lock you out before you even receive your final payments. Complete lack of respect for drivers and zero support. Avoid working with them!

Unreliable, hardly works even after reinstalled, customers can leave anonymous feedback where you donāt know which address you have delivered incorrectly. Worse of all customers are allowed to bully, accuse you of everything and insult you and yet its part of your profile as a courier. Its the Evri way. Needs changing immediately š”š”š”

Rate the app, not the organisation
Lots of the 1 star reviews are criticising the company, not the app. Sure there is a different forum for that. The app itself is fairly easy to use although it can freeze sometimes and need restarting but on the whole, fairly straightforward to use and interface friendly

Itās an absolute joke using it on an iPhone. It freezes a lot of times. I canāt even open the information I want to see. Or I can if I open something else in it first. Itās hard to submit requests about the parcel on the job because it always freezes. I just wanted to update the app because it didnāt let me use it until I uploaded but the update button didnāt work in the app. I had to find it in the Apple Store where it didnāt show the available update. I had to click on the app information first for finally see the āOPENā button changed to āUPDATEā.

My experience with Evri was completely disappointing. I worked for about 10 to 12 days, and according to their payment policy, they pay after 10 days. But the amount I received was extremely small, and it just didnāt align with the effort I put in. I would urge everyone not to get involved with this work, because itās really not worth it and it only leads to frustration.

App issues
New to the app but in just using it 5 times Iāve had to uninstall twice. It keeps freezing and doesnāt let you click on anything like home just stays on the ātraining bookedā page. This is annoying especially when itās tell you that there are training to be done. This needs better service if itās the main app colleagues need to use.

Savage pay
If u look at the time you spend āworking,ā the amount of money you get works out WAY LESS than minimus wage. Youāre told to be at depot for half 10. The parcels will NOT be ready for you till about half 11, (sometimes later)
You then spend an hour scanning, arranging / numbering your parcels for your route. All this is unpaid, as you donāt actually earn a penny until u scan and deliver a parcel.
Soā¦ that 2 hours before you get going, which means at minimum wage you should already have earnt Ā£12.71 x 2
Instead of earning this hourly minimum you have spent 2 hours before getting on the road for literally zero wage at all.
Also, youāre not given any funds for fuel, so thatās an additional expense you must account for.
I used to put around Ā£35 fuel in to do 3 days a week. It is now about Ā£50 that is needed since these recent fuel price rises.
That means for the 3 days I do, one of those days earning just covers fuel.
The company hasnāt done anything to address fuel prices as this isnāt their concern at all, so itās now earning even less than what was already under the legal minimum wage.
In addition to this, if u want to withdraw some wages on your own time, rather than waiting till your payday, then you have to pay them Ā£1.80 for that privilege. Literally pay to take your own money out, so u have to pay money to withdraw your already less that legal minimum wage funds,
to be able to pay for fuel, that way increased by more than a third, to then spend 2 hours waiting or sorting parcels for literally zero pay at all.
Once the parcels are sorted and in order, and your actually on the road, despite being owed Ā£25 per shift before setting off, that you simply just donāt get, itās actually quite pleaser and is alright, just driving about listening to your tunes or podcasts or whatever, and as long as the app is playing ball, then itās all good.
It just really feels like a pisstake how your expected to be in at a time, where the parcels are never ready for, and expected to spend an hour sorting and arranging for zero money at all. Thatās not an exaggeration.

If you could āclock inā at 10:30 when your told to be there, and then paid for that time, and given a fuel allowance or something, then it would literally be all good. Also, I bet people would take more pride in their work, and in turn Evri would have a much better standing and public opinion.

This app is a scam
I donāt know why App Store let them upload this app but itās a scam. You can see. Itās only been download 500 times and once you download the app they will ask you to complete the form and then they will send you a QR code and the download link in their email so once you download that thatās where the problem comes in so guys donāt download this and Apple should remove this app from the App Store immediately

How is this legal
Pathetic pay, barely make minimum wage most days and thatās ignoring the fact you have to pay entirely for your own fuel, and ever since the war began and fuel costs have become insane this job is simply not worth it. Not to mention you arrive in the morning, have to scan all the packages and load your car, and hope their terrible app doesnāt glitch out and make you take ages before you even get on the road, all of this to not be paid until you deliver your first parcel, which is usually a pathetic 52p
Awful setup, really donāt understand how this can even be considered legal in this day and age and they canāt just pay an hourly rate.
At least itās given me a new found sympathy for Evri drivers
