Using so many years!

This minimalistic app is the best thing that can take 30 seconds of your time every day and still track all your expenses.

Keep It Simple Stupid. This is hands on the best expense app to get. Fast, simple and has an intuitive GUI. Highly recommend and I can’t believe it’s free.

So Simple Yet Powerful

I’ve been using this app since forever, with breaks. I just started using it again and I simply had to write this review. This app does everything I want the way I want it. I tried dozens of expense tracking apps and I keep coming back to this one. You can tell this was made by someone who’s using the app themselves. It’s so simple, useful and frictionless. Thank you for making it!

Just great

I have been using this app for about 3 1/2 years. I originally got it to keep track of food expenses that I split with a roommate. It is so easy to use. You can create categories and make notes about each purchase . It’s just a very simple easy to understand application and the results can be expected to useful formats.

Great for tracking expenses

This app is just great. I still use it every day and love how simple it is. I do wish there could be some updates though. Maybe an increased list of the category icons or the ability to use Emojis as a category icon. Also the ability to set a recurring expense would be handy.

This is an excellent app. It needs a search function however to be perfect.

Feature request

This app is great, I just wish it had one more feature: the ability to add a ‘memo’ — just a brief text field where I can specify what a particular expense was for. I’m still looking for an app that is simple like this one, but with a memo field. Until I find it, this app wins!

Simple and effective

I have been using Expense for over a year now. It is easy to use and works perfectly for tracking day to day expenses. The layout is very intuitive and lets you add expenses quickly, versus the bigger budgeting apps where you end up hunting for the right category. I also love the monthly view, and that you can get your expenses downloaded as a CSV.

Simply the best

This is super simple. Things that are not obvious in the description is you can add and customize categories. Love the fact that you can email yourself the data from the app, it is not stored in the cloud. Also this app opens super fast, which is huge when you want to quickly enter spending. I have never reviewed an app, but this one is so good I felt like I had to rate it.
Note, it is simple by design. Export your data and move it to excel for analysis.

Great app

I love this app because it’s so minimalistic and easy to use. The only thing I’d love to see are a few new icons for the categories. Are you planning on adding any new ones in the future?
