Buggy updates
This app is on a downward trajectory. Latest update is full of bugs. For an app that professionals rely on in their daily work, this is unacceptable. What exactly am I paying for? It’s unusable.

I loved this.I only used the free version so I only got to used one slide but that’s fine. I loved how my creative mind could flow.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Excellent, but…
Have been using this app for several years for teaching and think it’s awesome. Getting frustrated, though, that for the last few weeks I’ve been getting a pop-up asking me to rate this app every 30 minutes or so. It’s very intrusive when teaching, and irritating to be asked so many times. Whether I rate or not, the pop-up reappears shortly afterwards. And again. And again. Grrrr.

Cut off writing
I’ve never had it before but when I make a video, it is cutting off the writing that I was doing on the screen.
Crashes after latest update
Crashes when accessing files after latest update. I rely on this app to teach and now I can’t access the files after the latest update. 0 stars.
Buggy
The app would randomly do odd things, like my background just turned black, the finger tool stopped moving object and would only select even if it was not in select mode. The top menus was overlapping the lock and battery icons so it was hard to tap on them. Maybe work on making this app better instead of trying so hard to make me pay for it with constant pop ups and restrictions. Adding the pop-menu for Apple Pencil Pro would also be nice. Very disappointed because the ability to use it as a whiteboard in airplay it probably the only good things is has going for it.

This is an amazing app I always use it for school, but now it says to pay. So at school time I had to use another app, please fix this.

Amazing app
Amazing app, it has different choices of pens and tools, and I love how it come with a tutorial just in case someone doesn’t know what to do. It’s free, which is great as well. There are many templates to choose from and is an amazing app to use.

Make Lifetime Subscription One-time Purchase
I genuinely believe Explain Everything is one of the best and most powerful digital whiteboard tools available today. The features, flexibility, and overall polish are fantastic, making it indispensable for educators, creators, and professionals who need dynamic visual explanations.
The problem, however, lies in the pricing model. Requiring a mandatory annual subscription of $69 USD per year just for essential features like "unlimited notebooks" is an entry barrier that is too high for many, especially those who only need the app periodically or who are budget-conscious (like independent educators or students).
I urge the development team to seriously consider offering a one-time, perpetual license (or "lifetime purchase") option. While I understand the need for recurring revenue to support ongoing development, a high upfront cost to permanently unlock core power-user features like unlimited notebooks would be highly valued by your dedicated user base. This model would allow users who love the app but can't justify a recurring annual fee to invest in the tool permanently.

Money Pit
This is another example of being charged piecemeal on a subscription basis for something that was once a core function of a Promethean Board. No real added function and not particularly user friendly. Everything is directed towards cloud storage which is great in some circumstances leaves functionality vulnerable to network failures.

Great app, but Android users having trouble
I have been benefiting in my teaching with EE for more than three years now. I find it reliable and really helpful. I have recommended it to friends who say that they cannot download it to their tablets from the Google store. I was disappointed because I want them who are also teachers to benefit from it as well.

I like the application but it can use some improvement.
I sometimes end up losing some of my project. They simply disappear without me deleting them. I have no idea why this happens and it’s very hard to get any support. Also the application tends to freeze very often which is quite frustrating when you have a group of 20 plus people in front of you waiting.

HORRIBLE APP
I was using this website for work on the computer for multiple days and suddenly it won’t let me open my project. I finally get the app on my phone to finish and it resizes everything won’t move where I want it to and the scale is different than the computer. This is genuinely one of the worst apps and websites I have ever used and so frustrating. So annoying to have the project i’ve been working on over multiple days be ruined.
