I never rate apps, but this is my new found favorite pass time. Hundreds of live cams showing beautiful animals, thousands of recordings, photos, and highlight videos! No pay, no subscriptions, just free animal cams. This app is perfect for everyone. Ranging from a toddler interested in animals, to elders looking to unwind with some forest views and birds chirping. I just got this app and it is FANTASTIC!! So many live streams and a variety of animals. Very relaxing as well. Becoming my new favorite app!!!!!

Quit working on Apple TV
Absolutely will not work on Apple TV. I can airplay it from my iPad or phone only. I really don’t want to do this. I would like the app to work directly from my Apple TV. Worked great up to the last update and now all I get is an error message. I tried everything and even called Apple support. Still will not work. Please fix!

Beautiful Animals Up Close
This is the most wonderful opportunity for up close, live looks at a variety of wild animals as well as those in various sanctuaries. I watch these live cams every day and follow the stories as the animals go through their year. The Explore.org naturalists and the guides at the Africam cameras hosted by Explore.org hold live chats and highlight videos that are extremely interesting. I’ve learned so much. The bears at Katmai are a huge hit. The annual Fat Bear competition is a fall highlight. Now I am watching Magellanic Penguins in Argentina, eagles are getting ready to lay their eggs in nests out west and elephants, zebra and baboons are roaming about in Africa. I also love the owls, the falcons, the puffins, owls eagles, the cheetah and the osprey. I find it both interesting and incredibly relaxing to watch these live cams. There also our numerous documentary films to look at. Thank you to Explore, it’s founder Charles Annenberg Weingarten and the moderators & camera operators around the world who do such a great job.

I was excited to download this, but everyone I try to watch something it either doesn’t work or says I’m not signed in when I am

Unable to Use
So far I have not even been able to get the app open…either on my tablets or phone.
I want to sign up but app won’t let me
I have tried every which way to sign up for this app including deleting it and reinstalling it. Nothing works! The sign up button remains activated but nothing happens when clicked.
Not working
All I get is a black screen with the org name.
THE WORST
I dont know if its a glitch but no matter what i go on i just can’t see the footage i signed out in out and in but it wont work I tried everything, but it just won’t work

Explore.org was so great before the update. I’m logged in to the app now, but I am unable to view live videos. The app thinks I’m a bot. I will give it a five star review when I can use the app.
What did you do?
What did you people do to this app?!? It’s hard to find any African stream and my favorites no longer exist. Plus the navigation in the app is terrible now. What a bummer, I used to love this app.
Streams not working
Ever since the last update, almost all of the Africam streams are not working. Disappointing, I really enjoy this app.
Totally disappointed!
I downloaded the app on my iPhone because the website is having numerous problems right now. I thought I might have better luck with the app. I couldn’t have been more wrong! No where to log in! No where to view the comment sections! I’m deleting the app. Total waste of time. Has the Explore.org site been hacked?

Fine for watching and that’s it!
If you only want to watch the live cams without snapshotting, commenting, etc. then it’s an adequate app. But if you want to do the other things or login to your web account, well, you can’t.
It just doesn’t work at all
I was trying to watch something and it was just showing a black screen and it never played a single live show. I even tried everything and nothing worked I trued deleting the app and redownloading it and once again it just wasn’t working👎🏻
IPad app is frustrating!!
I love watching the livestreams on my TV and on the web. But the iPad app is awful! There doesn’t appear to be any way to get back to the main menu page once you’ve selected a livestream to watch. The only way that seems to work is to close and reopen the app. So frustrating!
Desktop version is better IMO
I thought I’d try the app again, but I still find the browser version better. I can’t seem to get back to the main screen to select a different cam. I don’t want to spend a lot of time figuring it out
