ExxonAT

ExxonAT verifies the authenticity of Exxon labels for automotive lubricant containers. By filming a label through the back camera of an iPhone or an iPod Touch, ExxonAT can determine if that label is printed with a Cryptoglyph supplied by AlpVision, and flag the label as genuine if the presence of the Cryptolgyph is verified. Cryptoglyphs are essentially low-density, pseudo-random patterns printed with elementary dots of a visible ink, or elementary vacancies in the varnish coating. ExxonAT is exclusively intended for inspectors belonging to, or mandated by Exxon China.
