Don’t Love It
I’ve used this app for almost five years now and it’s always been meh/okay. New this year? A $2 transaction fee each time you add money to your child’s account. Annoying, but fine. Except now the app won’t even let me add money to my child’s account. I receive an error each time. The irony of having to pay that $2 transaction fee and then the app not functioning when you need it is not lost on me.

I saw that the app had been updated after a lot of the negative reviews so I thought I’d give it a try.

Needs updates and better security
Honestly this app is not good. It is buggy. If you add something to an the cart you better darn well want it because you can’t remove it. Last update was 8 months ago.
Secondly, how do you have an app dealing with money and not have Face ID security or 2FA in 2024? Use Apple Pay or something.

Amazing finally a decent app
I am able to see each of my kids and what days they buy food, how much money they have and so on. For the on star that someone else gave, you are dead wrong. Amazing app!!!!
Another App that Charges Fees
Avoid the $3 service fee by paying for meals at your school’s office. Neither the school nor EZSchoolPay wants to refund your money without making it a chore. What a disgusting, parasitic business.
The app and the program is a joke
So I signed up through our school for Efunds in 2020. I’ve never been able to use anything other than my laptop the very device I signed up for efunds. I couldn’t and can’t sign in on my phone, iPad or my husband devices or laptop. It wants me to register all over again. Generally when you register multiple times for the same thing is says the email is already being used. Nope not this website. It will take your email multiple times with the same password. But then the kicker is anytime I go back to any of my other devices to login it doesn’t recognize my login info on that device so then I need to go back to the last device I signed up and logged into. This is a complete and utter joke of a website and when I saw the ezschool app that was linked to our efunds link on our school website I thought there was hope but it was the same thing all over again. I can’t believe the incompetent ppl who are designing these apps and sites they have seen enough reviews to have to fix it but they don’t. My recommendation is don’t waste your time with either the app or the website. It will save you a lot of time and frustration. I now just make sure I have check blanks to send to put money on lunch account way easier-buy outdated but way easier.

The app charges more than most ATMs
In my opinion, public schools should not use a service that takes money from families (currently $3 per use to add funds to my child’s account). I like the convenience of the service but feel the service should either be free or be subsidized by the County or school district. I’m going to just add funds using cash from now on. I’m wondering how many hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars are earned by the app every month.

You’ve got to be kidding. Then you can’t just pay a specific amount. This is more expensive than PayPal. No way!
Force Closes
App will not allow me to sign up. Tried 3 times, force close every time. Get your programming in order. Also, my school’s office informed me of a charge to load? Each time? No. No.
Horrible app
Downloaded 3 times and during signup at least 15 times the app world crash and disappear. I’ll just write a check like the old days. Why a school district would associate with such an app is beyond me. Wow.
