WIC has changed in a positive way since I needed assistance 17 years ago. I’m pleased that you no longer have to write out those checks or carry around that booklet. Also the variety of food has improved. I’m very thankful for this program
Technical Problems
The app worked great up until the most recent update (week of May 15 2024). My phone has been in dark mode since before I downloaded the app, but all of a sudden with this most recent update this app has an issue with dark mode and is telling me to switch to light mode. It worked perfectly fine before I don’t understand why your developers are making everyone’s life harder.

New update doesn’t show current balances. Why was I forced to update to a version that doesn’t work?

Open the app click on the three bars upper left. Pull down menu has manage cards then add card. I had to turn off my vpn and read the instructions! Lol I put my child’s birthday and they wanted mine! Worked just as slick as I would want!
Worked great for years, but nothing loads x4 days
This app has worked amazingly well for years, but this past Sunday it stopped functioning. I can’t see my balance, can’t scan anything, and can’t file complaints because “EzWIC is down”. How can you know your system isn’t working if people can’t tell you it’s broken??? It’d be a shame to use a different app as this one was so reliable.

Supposedly maintenance
Been trying to get on to the app to check my things and “maintenance” is being done keeps changing the time the app will be ready after the supposed “maintenance” is really stressful because I can’t see how much I have and need to go buy things.

For some reason it keeps saying it needs to update when it doesn’t and it and now I can’t check my benefits or use it for when I go to the store.it keeps saying it will work again but it hasn’t for 2 days now. Y
Very Convenient (American Samoa)
This app is so convenient compared to carrying around a piece of paper with a list of what you’re allotted monthly. It also shows available balance after purchases and provides detailed information on what food items are eligible for purchase. I love it!
Always unavailable
I’ve have the app for a while now and it was great at first. Now it’s always saying “EzWIC currently unavailable” I can’t even submit feedback without it having that error message. I tried contacting by email but they just referred me back to the app. It’s very frustrating, the app was useful and now I can’t even add my card or see my balance. PLEASE FIX THIS.

Since yesterday I keep getting an error to make sure I have the latest version of the app... nothing is working :/

It was working for the first 2 weeks I downloaded it all of a sudden it’s telling to get the latest one I’ve done that still doesn’t work
Won’t open
I’ve had a few times where I went to the store and tried to open the app, but it wouldn’t open. The loading screen for the app would appear, but it would quit before it finished downloading all the way.

This app has made shopping much more convenient. No more books no more checks no more shady looks at the register. All this app needs is a recipe book Incorporated into it

Amazing!
I had Arizona WIC for about five years. When they went paperless, they launched this app and it was far more convenient for us! Big give for this app particularly when you compare it with the other states, particularly Texas which spends least on WIC throughout the US.
Not working
I had no trouble adding my first three children, but now I can’t add the new child. I love the spot and being able to tell you what’s left. I agree with the first review, it was so convenient to use. I also uninstalled the appt and also rebooted my phone but didn’t help. I even called support and left a message but no one has called back
