What's New in FabricDataSheet
1.1
August 14, 2026
Ver: 1.1 Editable company-to-company sharing through .fabricdatasheet files, providing a clearer and more complete workflow than CSV exchange. Received sheets can be opened directly in the app, including sender, article, revision, tests, certifications and attachments. Received sheets can be compared with an existing version and either used to update it or imported as a new copy. File integrity checks detect incomplete, damaged or modified shared documents. Suppliers entered manually are automatically added to the company supplier archive when the sheet is saved. New Calculations area showing fibre quantities in g/m², g/m and kilograms per piece, based on composition and weight. Automatic metric and imperial conversions for widths, lengths, weights, densities and test results. Automatic test summary showing conforming, non-conforming, pending, not-tested and not-applicable results, plus the conformity percentage. Margin calculation against the required value to identify results inside or outside the specification. Yarn-count conversion between Tex, dTex, Denier, Nm and Ne. Theoretical woven-fabric weight calculation based on yarn count, thread density and crimp, including comparison with the declared weight. Removal of the duplicated legacy Warp count, Weft count and Knitting yarn count fields. Structured management of multiple warp and weft yarns, each with fibre, count system, value and number of plies. “Tolerance” replaced by “Required value” for mechanical properties, colour fastness, performance tests and chemical controls. Recent activities on the Dashboard are now clickable and open the corresponding technical sheet. Fixed persistence of company technical-test settings, which now remain saved after leaving the screen. Simplified Chinese introduced as the fifth complete application language. PDF, CSV, print and email output in Italian, English, Spanish, German or Simplified Chinese, regardless of the language used to create the sheet. Automatic system-language selection and a Reset to System Language command with the ⌥⌘L keyboard shortcut.
